"Room was well presented but the rest of the hotel was run down and breakfast was definitely not worth the additional £11 per person. Very poor. Undercooked egg and sausage with excuse only one chef. It took ages to be served and the hotel had two coach loads of OAP’s. "

We returned to The Esplanade Hotel again and wow it's still so wonderful, perched on the golden sands of Fistral, the beach certainly is your playground! From the moment we arrived to when we sadly had to leave everything was perfect - spotlessly clean throughout, great swimming pool, delicious food to include a highly recommended afternoon tea, wonderfully furnished bedrooms with beautiful sea views and the highlight being outstanding service from each and every member of staff! Every aspect of this hotel is geared up for the family with great children's entertainment every day. The manager Claudia certainly knows how to run a hotel with her brilliant team, thank you! Her attention to detail is marvellous, it's the little touches! We will be back, again!"

"we loved the house apart from the maintenance issues lights not working, main TV not working and we couldn't get the heating system to work properly i would suggest a meet and great or a short video guide on how to work it. Location and layout of the property was fantastic a lovely place for a family holiday we would go back again"
