"The cabin was adorable but I didn’t realize the two person cabin had no bathroom. We were at the top of the hill and had to drive downhill to the bath house. Would have been nice to have a bathroom at least near our cabin to use at night. Also it was a surprise for the $200 deposit to come out the day before our arrival in addition to what we paid. Everything was clean and nice other than that."

"We absolutely loved our stay here. The pictures really don't do it justice. A number of people said that the rooms, especially the kitchen, were larger and nicer than the pictures seemed. It's in a very quiet and remote location. The driveway is easy to miss so drive slowly down the road. "We wanted a peaceful getaway and that’s what got at the Buck Shack. We were a short drive with breathtaking views and landscapes. We enjoyed a campfire with s’mores at night. Enjoyed the sound of nature and birds singing. Had excellent communication with host and most everything we needed when we arrived. The indoor decor is rustic and beautifully decorated with small accents and details. Highly recommend!☺️"

"We stayed for one night while exploring the Salt Fork area for the first time. The weather was not great but Brittany allowed us to check in early, so we ended up spending most of our time at the cabin. We enjoyed the fire pit and cooking on the grill. The inside of the cabin is beautiful and clean. The outside was nice as well but a bit unkempt - mostly minor things that could be resolved easily (grass needed cut, found some garbage lying around, grill was very old and rusty with food residue)....
