Beautifully remodeled, spacious home, with modern furnishing and well-kept property. The bathroom has a full tub and shower with a blow dryer and towels.
The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, a new refrigerator, microwave, stove, coffee pot, and toaster. This one-bedroom unit has it's own private access, a space of it's own in a huge house. This has a stunning view of the river and is located just over a mile from beautiful Douglas and 2 miles from Saugatuck.

If you're adventurous, you are just under a mile from Mount Baldhead Park where you can challenge yourself to 282 steps to enjoy the gorgeous view of Lake Michigan. If you continue your journey you can relish the fabulous Oval Beach which is in the top 10 beaches in the U.S.. Live it up in downtown Saugatuck with all the great shopping and so many fabulous restaurants to choose from.

The owners are very friendly, offering recommendations for breakfast and dinner. The house was clean and well kept and the location is ideal, close to the chain ferry and within a nice walk to Oval beach and Mt. Baldhead. We had a great time visiting Saugatuck for the first time.

Water view from the deck

Relaxing on the deck was an added bonus. The 1 bedroom unit was tastefully decorated. The location is within walking distance of the chain ferry, Mt. Baldknob and hiking trails. Just a short drive and you can be chillaxing on Douglas and/or Oval Beach, eating at numerous spots and shopping to your hearts content. Enjoy this gem on your next trip to Saugatuck.

Birthday Getaway

The space was exactly as I envisioned! Everything I expected. The first night was perfect weather to use the fire pit. Spent mornings with coffee overlooking the water at the outside table and chairs. The living room couch was very comfortable as was the queen size bed!! Loved the breeze flowing in through the patio door screen. We were extremely comfortable. I will definitely stay again if I’m in the area.

What we loved most besides our lovely Host was their home. I absolutely loved the multiple living spaces, felt like home. And the View, so tranquil! 1st Anniversary

My wife and I stayed here for our first wedding anniversary on April 2024. The place is beautiful, as is the area. We enjoyed being so close to Lake Michigan, Kalamazoo Lake, and right across the street from the Kalamzoo River. The place is well set up with a full kitchen including stainless steel appliances, and dishwasher + a magic bullet blender and wine and bottle openers, as well as toaster and coffee maker. Nice gas fire place stove easy to use too. Enjoyed how close it was to a handful of nice towns and right across the river from downtown Saugatuck. The place even has a shared laundry room access between the units, you can lock the door to the laundry from inside your unit. We loved walking to Mount Bald Head and Lake Michigan. It was also nice to sit on the front deck and enjoy the view of the Kalamazoo River.

Very comfortable property.

Our time at the facility was spent mostly in the evening and it was very relaxing. Our last evening was a bit marred as a horrific thunder storm passed through with threats of tornados and 75 mile an hour winds and hail The power was knocked out through the rest of stay and we had no flashlights etc. No injuries or damages to us but much damage in the surrounding area. Overall, a great stay.
