"Breakfast felt rushed, I would have liked more time after my cereal before the cooked breakfast arrived, even when I asked the waitress was back after a few minutes asking if I was ready to order. This was midweek and there wasn't many guests. When more did arrive for the weekend, it was all a bit too frantic and didn't leave a relaxing breakfast experience. The room was small but clean and the bed very comfy and we were supplied with a bottle of water as well as the usual hot drink facilities."

The lodge itself is absolutely beautiful — spacious, luxurious, and finished to such a high standard. The photos really don’t do it justice. It feels even more impressive in person.Everything was spotless, cosy, and perfectly set up for a relaxing family stay. We had grandparents, parents, and a child with us, and it suited everyone perfectly.Communication with the owner was brilliant from start to finish. All the information was clear, simple, and easy to follow, which made the whole experience completely stress‑free.We’ve stayed in the Lakes many times, but this lodge is truly something special. We’d go back in a heartbeat."

"We stayed in Olive 3, which has a jacuzzi double bath, steam room, sauna and shower! Beautiful! We used the spa which was lovely peaceful and clean. The restaurant staff, service and food is excellent and this is about our 10th visit. We love the place and staff."
