"Lovely cosy hut was great for the weekend. All the added little touches I the kitchen area and fridge was nice. The shower was powerful enough for us to have a good shower and the hot tub was great to relax and look across the fields. The log burner was great and heated the hut up nicely. We booked a table for evening meal at the on site restaurant for the Friday and we both really enjoyed it also a great choice of beer and spirits i myself am a fan off Belgium beer and they didn't disappoint. We will come again even if we dont stay overnight but would like to stay again in the future."

"We loved everything about our stay in Mafeking. The house, the garden and Benenden are all beautiful. Mafeking is a great choice for familys, there are plenty of toys and a lovely playground nearby. We extended our stay because we loved it that much and had a very friendly and accommodating experience with the costumer service. Next summer holiday we will be coming back and are really looking forward to visit Mafeking again. Absolutely recommended."

"We had an amazing stay and Christmas we had within this lovely Oast house. The host Alan was so accommodating from arriving to departure - Alan you’re the best! There is an amazing pub right next door called the White Hart, we ate there and the food was first class - the landlord was very friendly too. There is a Morrisons and Tesco within ten minutes up the road and wonderful country walks. Christmas itself was like being in the movie ‘The Holiday’ - we will definitely return and to also meet up with Alan again.Many thanks Alan Mark, Sharon and family "

"Hello, We enjoyed our very comfortable stay at the house and it would have been excellent except for two things. Firstly being older we found it very difficult to access the bath and shower. Grab rails would be an excellent addition. Access to the shower would be improved if the shower door moved inwards. Secondly as older people it is very difficult to get up from the settee and chairs which although comfortable are very low, and the cushions slide about. Lovely warm house with excellent kitchen facilities and breakfast area/sunroom. Comfortable beds and house was clean and welcoming"

"Stayed for three nights over Xmas. The walk from the pub to the accommodation was across a muddy unpaved carpark. Access to the room was via a combination door lock and privacy in the room afforded by blinds at the door ,room windows. Unfortunately there was no internal lock on the door and gaps in the blinds afforded a view into the room from outside. The room was cold on arrival and took hours to warm up. The worst aspect was the small continental breakfast left in the room or delivered in the afternoon. It just consisted of a small cussion, butter, jam, small yoghurt, small box of cereal and a pint of milk with a very small carton of fruit juice with no choice. No juice on the first day, nor milk or cereal on the second with no resupply of hot drink sachets. There was a mini fridge to store that breakfast in the room but it was down on the floor which wasn’t ideal. However pub staff were friendly, the water piping hot, Wi-Fi signal excellent and a comfortable bed."
