"We loved our stay. The beds are so comfortable. After we figured out the heat, it worked well. We were a little disappointed that there was no firewood for the outside firepit but i contacted the owners and they were just as surprised! We went and bought some firewood from the grocery store (which they quickly reimbursed us for) and then they came the next day with some more. Being a mile from the Botanical Gardens was very convenient. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thank you "

"We had a relaxing time on our anniversary with our dogs at the boathouse, taking in the beautiful views. Enjoyed delicious lobster. Loved having our coffee on the patio, we saw several eagles. "

"House was perfect for a family get together. Big enough to have spaces for individuals to be alone and spaces for everyone to gather. Beautiful location right on the water so every moment was spectacular. Our host was always available and helpful. We enjoyed the surrounding area as well, hiking, eating oysters on the river, the Botanic Gardens are fabulous -- we will definitely return!"

"The house was spacious and well appointed. By far, the biggest issue is the house's location right on a terribly busy highway. The road noise was very disruptive for sleeping. The bedrooms are 20 feet or so from the busy road. The entrance was hard to find, especially at night. Bushes on the property near the entrance need to be cut back for better sight views.The beds were extremely soft and unconfortable. We like to cook our own food and the kitchen was not well equipped to do so.As i said it is a spacious home but the road noise alone is a reason I would not stay here again."
