Surrounded by beautiful hiking trails, a gorge, and water falls. A quick bus ride and brief walk you can swim in lake Walensee. 「The location was great, right on the lake, which we jumped in frequently to cool off. It was unbearably hot, the 4 provided fans brought some, but inefficient cooling. The attic / TV room was unusable secondary to the extreme heat. It was difficult, if not impossible to sleep. Thankfully our musclar son could bring the luggage up 4 flights of stairs. Parking accommodations were acceptable. Transportation to Lucerne and other destinations was easy with good bus and train service. Beautiful views...
