Meadowbrook Inn

"We have stayed at the Meadowbrook Inn for our anniversary 3 years in a row and we love it. The suites are large and comfortable. There is no food served at the hotel, but the hotel is an easy one block walk to the Main Street where all the shops and many restaurants are located. We enjoyed the indoor pool and also the fire pit on the terrace. We highly recommend the Meadowbrook Inn for a quiet and relaxing time while shopping and sightseeing nearby."

"The room was nicely remodeled and clean. From Expedia and the hotel I received too many messages, texts, emails and had to download various attachments just for an one night’ stay. After filling out and signing an online check in form, they then want you to download an app on your phone to get you access to the room. If not, you still have go to the other hotel’s check in counter to get the code. Room was fine, just had to turn off the loud air-con and open the windows sometime during the night. Fire pits were nice addition, although one didn’t work. Hotel is located right in the heart of Blowing Rock."

"We had a very enjoyable stay. The room was very nice. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant not yet being associated with the hotel was a little annoying. We could not charge to our room nor get room service. The property itself is very pleasant and the walking trail around the lake is nice."

"I was traveling with an elderly person and specifically booked a room with a roll in shower. When we checked in, the first room had a tub. I immediately called the front desk and was told a manager had changed my reservation for some reason but there was no reason given. The woman at the front desk was very helpful and found an accessible room which worked well. I am not happy that my reservation was changed without notice or communication. Everything else (front desk, cleanliness, etc) was good."

"Room was clean. Property overall was decent but needed some maintenance. Towel rack in our room was off the wall and door was missing the latch/strike plate. Complimentary breakfast was good but staff did not put out any napkins/paper towels"
