This place is a diamond in the rough! Huge rooms, great salt water pool! Can not have a better place for the price!

I did not select a smoking room. I have a wife and kid with severe asthma however thats what I was changed to by expedia or the hotel. Property also had people just randomly hanging out of the rooms and people fixing cars in the parking lot.

I have no complaints. the room was nice and comfortable. the front desk was always friendly and helpful. I stay at other Quality Inns in other areas of NC and this one in Hickory, NC is the best of them all. I really enjoy their breakfast. the lady who cooks and maintains the breakfast service has been there several years and she is amazing. her breakfast is delicious and she is so friendly. I hope her dedication to her job is recognized with salary increases. Hickory Quality Inn has the best breakfast of other Quality Inns in NC

People above my room was up all night walking the floors. My husband kept hearing someone outside our room talk about doors needing to be locked. Will try booking an interior room next time. Also there was no cable channels or none that worked.
