"The Reverie looks great initially but on closer inspection is a bit tired. The pool area is showing signs of wear and tear and should really be refurbished. This got us to the hotel at 7.15am. We were told that check-in was at 2pm but that our room was available if we wanted to pay. I offered to pay the half nightly rate with immediate access but was told that was not possible and it was hotel policy. However, being told at check-in that the room is empty and therefore available but only for a significant fee is a poor business policy and suggests a money grabbing approach.
