"Good location for walking to restaurants, and a great breakfast place next door. Spacious room, very safe area Bathroom lacking any kind of hooks for wet towels and air con the noisiest we have ever known. Even with earplugs it was still loud Pool hours 7am-10pm meant loud children early in the morning - should consider changing 8-9? Would recommend with these slight changes"

"This is my family & friend's 4th year at Mermaid's Bay, and it's better than ever! We love this place. It's perfectly maintained and cared for by people who truly care. We have been staying in the keys every summer for more than 25 years and have had all kinds of memorable experiences, but none like the ones here. It looks as good or better in person and has everything anyone could want. Working with Jocelyn and her team at Solace is always a pleasure. She makes everything so easy and somehow manages to make everyone in our large group feel extra special. Highly recommend!"

"Everything was fantastic! We met Phyllis (host) one day and she was an absolute joy to speak with.The property was incredibly clean, the amenities perfect, and the location could not be beat. We rented a boat for a week and the marina was perfect and easy to navigate.The sunsets at the marina pier are just gorgeous, which we enjoyed every evening.We highly recommend this villa and would love to return soon!"

"Cozy and cute is how we would describe this property. We loved it. The location was perfect for us and enjoyed the ocean sunsets by the boat dock. Our family liked having the 2 units and we made the small living space work when the 7 of us were together in one unit. The courtyard was used often and we appreciated the shade structure. I would agree with the description that you definitely need a car to get to dining, activities etc. However, we had a great breakfast that was walking distance and we loved the shops and brewery across the road. For future renters: please note this area of Islamorada is NOT a beach area. The local beach is a short drive but it was closed when we went so I obviously can't provide a review. I would rent this property again."
