"The property was beautiful but not well cleaned in certain areas The room was nice,however we had an issue with a clogged toilet that we reported and because it was neglected by maintenance for two days (though we kept bringing it to their attention) we ended up with an entire room being flooded with at least an inch of water. Several of my personal items were ruined Even after it was finally fixed the management didn’t seem to care What was also disappointing was that many of the staff were not very friendly or attentive (we have stayed at many Riu resorts and this was our least favorite experience!"

"The hotel is beautiful. The beach was even more beautiful. The pools were nice. Elite upgrade not worth it. The food at the resturants was horrible. The italian resturant had alfredo it was watery milk. The steak hiuse served raw chicken. The elite resturant was just horrible. We ate at the buffet everyday. The staff was vwry hard to comunicate. And some staff was very nasty. Would come to the domincan again but not stay here again. Over all we made the best of it and had a great time."
