We agree it was a little dated, but it fit our needs for enough space. Our one complaint was that there weren't any beach towels (or extra towels). We picked this place due to its proximity to the beach (which was great), so we had to go to Walmart and buy towels.

Clean, spacious property

Property was clean. Size of property/layout of home was great. Could use some updates. Everything was in working order. Beach was an easy walk away. Trash in bins was overflowing when we got there (this may not be a reoccurring problem, we did go in on a Holiday weekend). I would suggest bringing extra towels. There was 1 per person.

Laughing Gulf 4

The house was the perfect size. We loved the fact that everyone had their own bathroom. It was a short walk to the beach and most of the shopping was a sudden six minute drive away. The only thing that was missing was a pool. I would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in Hilton Head. Also the beach was never crowded.

Property was very functional for us due to location, proximity to beach and sea pines activities. However, property was extremely dated. Furniture and amenities need upgrade. Cleanliness of outdoor of property left much to be desired. We had to clean this off ourselves. Water pressure and temperature was an issue when other people were showering or using facilities. Needs upgrade. We Have stayed on the island for well over 20 or 30 years and are well aware of the Lowcountry experience, however, there seem to be a proliferation of insects appearing routinely inside the home. Air conditioning, HVAC seem to be set on specific set times with no ability to adjust. Net net. This property was functional for our needs, but requires significant upgrade.

Spring Break 2024

Great location!! Walk to the beach. House was fully stocked with bath towels and dishes/pots and pans. I wish they had beach chairs and beach towels. The big negative is that the home is very dated. This property needs some TLC to make it comparable to other properties that I’ve stayed at in Sea Pines for the last 7 years. All in all we enjoyed ourselves and again, the location was awesome!!

Great area to stay for golf and close beach access.

Great spot!! The only negatives were some of the dishes were dirty along with the floor. If you have anything bigger than a civic you will only be able to fit 3 cars in the driveway not 4. Overall it was a great place to stay for the week. Would for sure go back.

Nice House

Furniture and deco very outdated. But the house was very accommodating. Close to the beach. Very quiet area. Ample sleeping space. Several bathrooms.

Furniture is a little aged. Carpet in bedrooms had a few stains. Washing machine sounds like a freight train. ( LOL ) Minor facelift would be nice. All in all, nice house to stay in. Very short walk to beach.

Vacation with friends

We were all 8 adults and I looked for a house with 5 bedroom 4 bath . 2 bedrooms with twin beds were too small . Those beds are ok for kids to sleep but not for adults . We didn’t realize bedroom will be too small . We called the Maintaince 2 fix the dishwasher it took them 2 days to come fix it . Lot of trash was left behind I had to call to get the trash taken away and they came after 2 days . Please was not cleaned properly . It is a nice location next to the beach and close to sea pines club area. We would enjoyed more of the listed things above were there for our comfort . We always come in a group with adult and I will not stay at this propert again

LOVED THIS PLACE

We really like this location! The only down side was that a pool had been mentioned in the listing. I had read that it was "hard to find". Yes, because it doesn't exist any where near this house. When we actually found the pool, after contacting the office, it turned out we would have had to pay a hefty sum to use it down at South Beach. This would be my only complaint. There is no pool. But the house and location is great. I would recommend Vacasa remove the pool listing under this rental.

Very nice place

Our family really enjoyed the house and all the space. Easy walk to the beach. Heated pool. Convenient location to bike to shops. We recommended this place and would stay here again!

Laughing Gull house rental

Location of house is great. Easy walk to beach and close to other Sea Pines amenities. Layout of house with 4 bedrooms each with a bath is also good. House, including carpet, furniture, lighting and bedding needs updating and cleaning.

Great place to stay.

Great property! Good location within easy walking distance to the beach. Convenient location to access South Beach Marina and Harbor Town within Sea Pines. Wide variety of TV channels to choose from.

We would’ve definitely stayed at a different house had we know. The “shared” pool was 3 miles away and we had to pay for it. Extremely disappointing, especially to the kids. This house should be advertised as NO POOL.

Getaway

Everything was very good. I hope the sofa gets upgraded. With Covid fabric upholstery should be upgraded for the sake of sanitation. Everything else was very good. Will come back to stay !

Great location, could use some work

Great location just a few houses down from the beach along a pedestrian path. Surrounded by very expensive houses. Very quiet beach compared with other areas nearby. Great to have four bedrooms with own bathrooms. The downsides: Two bedrooms are along the main road so can be noisy at night with glare from headlights. Advertised pool is nowhere near the house, and company gave no instructions about accessing it:; when we called, they told us to go visit a Sea Pines pool a few miles away and they would reimburse us. Bikes are locked on screened porch (which has no furniture) and beach chairs are locked up on different porch but no ability to access them. We didn’t really care that the kitchen and bathrooms were pretty old and in need of some paint and repair. Having a malfunctioning dishwasher half the time, a noisy washing machine, and two tubs that wouldn’t drain well was more of a problem. Overall, great location and fine place to stay with four bedrooms, but some minor improvements would make it much better.
