Welcome to this distinctive vacation property managed locally by Island Time Hilton Head.

The beach is calling at 62 Mooring Buoy! This sun-filled home is located in beautiful Palmetto Dunes, just a one-minute walk to the beach for toes in the sand. No crossing of streets, located on the beach path!

Featuring 4 bedrooms and 4 baths, there is plenty of room for the entire family. Relax in the light-filled, open-concept kitchen or great room. Enjoy multiple dining options inside and out, including a large, covered, screened-in porch! A beautifully adorned chefs’ kitchen is ready for your culinary creations. Enjoy a quick bite sitting at the kitchen island or formal dining at the whitewashed dining table.

Sweet dreams will greet you after a long day at the beach in your comfortable bedrooms. Each bedroom has a private bath! Located on the main level is the primary bedroom with a king bed, a beautiful no-threshold walk-in shower, a deep soaking tub, and a dual vanity. Bedroom #2, just down the hall, has a queen bed and a bath with a shower. Bedroom #3 has a king bed, a walkout balcony, and an ensuite with a shower. Bedroom #4 has two twin beds that can be converted into a swing king and a tub/shower combo. There is a queen-size sleeper sofa in the Great Room.

The beach awaits you. Get ready to start making great memories!

Key Features:
• Proximity to the beach: 3rd Row, on the Beach Path. Less than 2 min walk
• Total Home Water Filteration System.
• The pool can be heated for an additional charge, give us a call for heating rates and to make arrangements. Pool heat must be scheduled at 14 days prior to arrival. Additional fees apply for last minute requests prior to arrival or after arriving at the property. If the weather drops below 60 degrees, the pool may not be capable of being heated and or reaching optimal temperature.

Beautiful home

Great getaway

We had an excellent two weeks at HHI. The house is in a great location and has everything. The new upgrades of new kitchen and extra bedroom and updated master bathroom was a nice surprise. Love the changes.We have booked our two weeks for next year already!

The house was wonderful, the remodeling was awesome. It has a dream kitchen, and everything you would need. Loved the screen porch!! walk to beach beautiful, great location. The ONLY problem was the front bedromm queen bed on first floor does’nt cool well. Loved this home!!

Great Palmetto Dunes Beach house. Perfect location -short walk to the beach. Beautiful, clean, updated house with nice pool! We had a great time! Thank you to Island Time Hilton Head for a great vacay! Also to VayK Gear for great beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards! 100% reccomend this home!!

Great location

The location of this property to the beach was excellent! The screened in porch was a nice amenity. The pool was nice, but a little smaller than anticipated. Also, the pool is located in the front of the home which is a bit unusual. Overall, enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay at 62 Mooring Buoy. It’s clear this home is well take care of by the owners and those who rent. Great amenities too. Kitchen has everything you need. Technology and entertainment (TV / internet) worked wonderfully. Rare to find a pet friendly house this close to the beach in such a great neighborhood. Our dog enjoyed her stay as much as we did. Loved it and we will be back!

Beautiful House

We loved our month long stay at your beautiful house. The location could not be beat and the beach path right next to it was a bonus. The interior of the house was clean, extremely well-stocked and very comfortable. Since we were there in February, the beach was sometimes too cold and windy to enjoy, so your well protected pool deck was where we spent many afternoons in the sun. The screened in porch was my favorite spot to read in the afternoon. This was definitely one of the nicest VRBO homes that we have ever stayed in and we will be back!

Location Location

Mooring Bouy area is the best location for a laid back experience and the best flat beach, Palmetto Dunes access. The house is older and pretty dated, but served it’s purpose for our stay. The bathrooms are probably needing the most update attention. We would stay again.

Great Stay

We really enjoyed our stay in Hilton Head and this home was perfect for us. We have stayed in Sea Pines in the past but I have to say I think we much preferred Palmetto Dunes. The house was perfect for us. Each of us had our own bedroom and bathroom and greatly enjoyed the screened porch and being so close to the beach. I would recommend.

Perfect location to beach

The house was well stocked and so close to the beach!! It is an older home, showing some wear, but overall it was wonderful. Super easy and fast walk to the beach, great screened in porch to relax in. We had a perfect family vacation!

Great time

Never know what to expect when you rent a house (do the pictures do it justice, etc.) This was perfect. One of the main reasons I was interested in this place was the screened in porch. From coffee in the morning to late night games, the screened in porch was perfect. The shade provided by the trees was a nice touch. Never sunny in there and ceiling fans provided a nice breeze. Location was great, maybe a 3 minute walk to the beach. Made it easy to walk back and forth when needed. We truly enjoyed every aspect of this place and we are already trying to find time to book again and bring friends or family.

The Perfect Beach House...

Our family absolutely loved this house. The beach was just a short walk out the back door, everyone had plenty of space to move around, and the setting was very private...it blended so well with the nature around it. The house had lots of light and a nice open feel. All in all our family had a great vacation!

Convenience of home..... on vacation

Beautiful home located only a short walk to the beach. All the conveniences of home!! Beautiful location. Saw deer in the backyard and other neat creatures. Went to sleep by the lullaby of the frogs. Lovely vacation. Can’t wait to come back.

Just what we needed

We spent the week leading up to 4th of July in this house and had an amazingly relaxing week. Our family of 5 (twin 5 year olds and an 18 month old) found the house perfect for our needs. The house is 200 yards from the beach and has a quiet beach access path right off of the property. To and from the beach multiple times per day was a breeze and the outdoor shower made rinsing kids an easy task. Evenings were spent grilling, taking a bike ride around the quiet residential section of the resort, and then sipping drinks in the screened in living area after putting the kids down. The indoor space had plenty of room for our little monster to run around and the kitchen had everything we needed. Only got in the car the entire week to go play golf in Sea Pines. Everything else we could access by bike. In this crazy pandemic life, a week of a low key fun was exactly what our crew needed. For others reference... with an additional pull out couch and cot this house could easily fit 2 families.
