Central! Charming and Luxurious Privacy with 2 Master Beds - Close to Everything

Welcome to our cabin in the mountains of Western North Carolina. This charming cabin sits on 1 acre near the Cashiers crossroads. The open floor plan is modern and perfect for couples: 2 masters (2 king beds, 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs) and a large sleeping loft on the landing upstairs (2 twin beds). Relax on the beautiful porch overlooking the rhododendron while listening to the babbling brook - or snuggle inside by the fire with a book or movie.

Enjoyment continues outside with a large flagstone patio, firepit and gas grill.

The cabin is fully outfitted with feather pillows, high-end linens, down comforters and cotton quilts. You'll be more than comfortable with central AC/heat, internet, full kitchen and jetted tub.

We look forward to welcoming you to our special mountain retreat!

This is an absolutely wonderful place. While the outside is rustic and fits into the landscape, the interior is clean, well appointed and complete with everything needed for a quality stay. They did not go economical with the furnishings, appliances, cookware or linens and instead used things you would want in your own house. Walkable to town.

What a magical spot! Our family of four felt like we were tucked away in an enchanted forest for the weekend. Despite the wet, chilly weather, we played board games, read books and listened to the crackling fire. We ate at some great restaurants nearby (shout out to The Library where we had a fantastic dinner!) and could've easily cooked a feast in the cabin as the kitchen was well stocked. Close to town, easy to find yet very secluded! Slept well, enjoyed the big jetted tub, all in all a 5 star experience.

Great house and we loved the back porch ! It definitely smelled damp when we got there but there had been that terrible Helene visiting right before our visit. Owner was great to keep us informed about conditions before our arrival.

Great stay, close to everything!

We enjoyed our 5 days at this property! The house is beautifully decorated and well stocked for all our needs. The location is convenient to everything in downtown Cashiers as well as a quick trip to Highlands. The beds are very comfy and layout of the house was great for our family. Mary and William were very responsive! We will be back!

The house has a perfect location: in the woods, but 2 minutes from downtown Cashiers. It's a charming house, a real retreat. It's also well appointed and has everything you need and then some. The hosts are also outstanding--welcoming and communicative. Stay here!

Well done!

Great property that is well maintained and made to feel like home away from home. Everything you need for the kitchen has been thought of. Very convienent to Cashiers and getting to Highlands. Owners are friendly and responsive.

The perfect weekend getaway

This cabin in Cashiers is perfect for a mountain getaway! It is cozy and included lots of firewood for this trip. Kitchen is fully stocked and the bedrooms / baths were nice and big. Will definitely return!

Beautiful Cabin in the woods

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at William and Mary’s home. As an Interior Designer I was so impressed with the attention to detail, the beautiful furnishings, extremely comfortable beds, and nice linens. The cabin feels very isolated though it’s minutes from downtown Cashiers. The setup is perfect for 2 couples and 2 children. We enjoyed spending our evenings after going out to dinner in front of a fire… so cozy. I would highly recommend William and Mary’s home. They were very attentive and obviously care that their guests have the best experience possible along with feeling like they’re “home”. If I could rate this cabin 10 stars, I would! We will be back!

Fall getaway

What a delightful cabin, nestled in the woods but so conveniently located. We enjoyed our stay, slept so good under the comfy bedding while cooled by mountain hair from the open window. The furnishings were tasteful and comfortable. Overall, just a very pleasant place to relax.

Beautiful cabin in convenient location

We absolutely loved the cabin. The pictures of the house do not do it justice. It has siding that looks like tree bark - so gorgeous and unique! The outdoor area has a fire pit and small pond with lily pads and frogs. Our kids loved both. The inside was beautifully decorated. All beds were super comfortable. Highly recommend.

Perfect little cabin in the woods

This is one of my favorite VRBO stays ever! Tucked away but very centrally located, the home was a perfect respite after long days of hiking and driving around. The bedrooms are super comfy and the interiors are just lovely. We loved making breakfast in the kitchen and sitting outside on the porch listening to the birds while we drank our coffee. Would definitely rebook next time we are in cashiers!

Cute Cottage

The house is small but worked nicely for four adults and one child. Well-appointed pantry if you're interested in cooking, outdoor fire pit for smores, relaxing back porch with pond and frogs. Close to the main street in Cashiers and a twenty minute drive to Highlands and 20 minute drive to Lake Glenville.
