Beautiful home that was spacious, gorgeous views, soaring ceilings, well stocked kitchen, and lovely furniture. Plenty of room for everyone and plenty of bathrooms as well. We did not want to leave! Everyone wants to return next year! Even an EV charger and you will fall in love with the kitchen! It snowed as we departed and it was lovely end to our daughter’s wedding weekend!

Incredible mountain getaway

I stayed here with my wife and our three children. The home is beautiful. It was tidy and well equipped. A short drive to both highlands and cashiers. Hosts were great. Definitely will stay again.

Great home for our family vacation

We enjoyed all aspects. The screened porch with fireplace was our favorite part. Also the bedroom layout was ideal with a master suite on one side of house and another king bedroom and queen bedroom on other side for parents and kids. The kitchen was very nice and we cooked in every night.

Heaven in the Highlands

This property was even more amazing than the listing...if that could be possible. A stunning luxurious home, with every amenity one could ever desire. Beautiful decor, very comfortable, and enough space for everyone. The hosts are beyond generous, informative, and just so kind. It was truly heaven on earth and so thankful to have had such a wonderful visit.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

This house was wonderful and so beautiful! We loved our stay and had a great visit. The house sits right in between Highlands and Cashiers and is close to Lake Glenville, so we were able to easily spend time in each of the locations! This was a special trip for my mother, who is partially handicap, so this house was great because it is mostly one level and was very easy for her to get around. We would love to come back and stay here again - thank you for sharing your home with us!

Gorgeous home in perfect location

We had the best stay! The home is absolutely gorgeous! Every detail, from the grand, yet cozy aesthetic to the fine antiques throughout! The pictures do not do this home justice! We loved spending time on the swings on the front porch and taking walks through the beautiful neighborhood. Perfect location to the Cashiers town and Highlands. Reggie was exceptional and checked in on us! We’ll definitely be back!

Great mountain stay!

My husband and I visited for the week of Christmas, and we were not disappointed. The property was beautiful, clean, and well-stocked. Aside from several days of heavy rain, we enjoyed hanging out, and relaxing. We had a few questions for the owner during our stay, and he was absolutely wonderful to talk to - very pleasant and answered our questions promptly. I would recommend this home to anyone! We have been going to Highlands and Cashiers for several years, and this is by far our favorite place.

Exceptional home for couples or families

The home’s pictures and description do not adequately descript this wonderful mountain home! From many years of renting vacations homes in the mountains, beaches and islands this is certainly in top tier of our experiences. We loved the architecture, open plan with high ceiling and dynamic fireplaces. Large bedrooms and an exceptionally well stocked kitchen. High quality bedding, linens and toiletries were in keeping with a high-end hotel. Out host was great and responsive to ensue out stay was perfect. If you go to Cashiers do not miss this beautiful home for you stay. Reserve early!

Great house

Wonderful house, furnishings great, super stocked kitchen, very clean, and couldn’t have been more comfortable. Very roomy house with great porches. Only drawback was that the house was somewhat isolated but we loved our stay but one week too short. Would love rent for four weeks or more next year. The host, Phyllis and Reggie could not have been more available and answered all questions promptly and so so nice. Overall a wonderful experience!!! 5 STARS for sure.

Home Away from Home

We were beyond delighted with our stay in this property! Reggie and Phyllis have created a beautiful home in the perfect place in the mountains and we felt so lucky to have found it!! The photos online just don’t do this property justice. The decor is nicer than many VRBO homes and the furniture is more comfortable. There is generous space to gather and enjoy family time in high-ceiling spacious rooms. The twin- master suite layout is perfect for two couples and the lovely extra queen on the main floor plus the loft beds and full bath afford even more flexibility. The bedrooms are huge! The Kitchen is large and so pretty! It had everything we needed for a cookout on the wonderful deck and dinner at the dinning table. We really felt spoiled with all of the amenities and practicalities taken care of before we could think to need them. When we had a problem Reggie was extremely easier to work with and sent his caretaker out to handle the issue right away. The temperature in the house was perfect. Even the water pressure was great! We enjoyed a fire on the screen-in part of the deck and loved feeling we were the only people on the mountain, surrounded by gorgeous fall leaves and trees. It was truly a beautiful place to enjoy a week of incredible fall weather. No rain all week. This is a perfect place from which to hike and explore, go to local rivers to fly fish, visit both Cashiers and Highlands to dine or shop play golf on public courses or just relax with family!!
