"Several staff members were unengaging and fairly curt. The car valet guys were nice but having to valet the car every time we used it was inconvenient and expensive. During our 4 night stay, the room was only serviced the third morning at my request because I had spilled coffee on the sheet the first night and they didn't service our room at all the next day. They only did it the second morning because I requested it. The first night I also found a long dark hair on one of the hand towels and placed it on the floor to be replaced but no one came the next day. Our coffee pods and sugar in the room were never replaced and the trash wasn't emptied, even on the one day we had service. The Kelly hotel is attractive but we're not likely to stay again, which is a shame since our son and DIL live in Birmingham and we visit often."

"This was an amazing place for our multi-family Christmas trip! A large kitchen/dining space for gathering, yet apartments separate enough to get children to bed per each family's needs. And the swings in the front yard... the biggest thrill for the kids!Our one small maintenance issue was handled promptly and well."
