"At the end of a 2km dirt road you’ll find this expansive property with modest (extremely comfortable) properties (miners cabins.) Our property had 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, very compact, comfortable and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfy, the bathroom was quite small, but our hosts had provided all the special touches. The highlight was what the sanctuary was all about…. they are an active rescue sanctuary for a wide range of animals....

"A really nice and convenient stay in the snow! Excellent kitchen facilities but an electric frying pan would have been handy, and a dishwasher. Having a car port for our car was brilliant. A great stay!"

"Our second stay here - An Absolute break away from the big smoke of Sydney- so easy to just unwind here with the flowing Howqua river and night time cosy fireplace and spa. We just love staying here. The host Andy and his dog Ruffy are just amazing. Thank you- we will be back."

"We wanted an inexpensive couple of nights getaway. We stayed in a cosy cabin with all kitchen appliances & an amazing heater, the Neighbours walls could have done with more insulation, but the shower & pressure was outstanding. The owners & staff were definitely a reason we would return."

"This is a nice place and the owners are good people. Generally we'd recommend this as a place to stay. There are 2 caveats. First, it isn't really set up for any food prep beyond a toaster and small microwave. You couldn't even cook an egg for brekky. Second, the seating is not very comfortable--window seats are hard and the two chairs ditto. Fixing these would raise it to a five star as other things are very good ..."

"We booked this accommodation as I was playing in a 2 day tournament at Bright Golf Club. It is a lovely cabin just on the outskirts of town. For the energetic, you could easily walk / ride into town. The cabin had everything we needed. It is Pet Friendly too which meant our four legged family member didn't miss out either."

"Great cabin perfect for a young family taking kids to the snow. Location is ideal next to the dinner plain slope and a short ride to Hotham."

"Wonderful location. Cabins are in need of a spruce up but we still enjoyed our stay. Hot water was not working in our shower while we stayed... but we braved some cold showers... however we still enjoyed our time."
