"Cheap and spacious. Although there is no free parking, there are many cheap parking just beside the hotel. There is also a multi storey car park that is linked to the hotel via the 3rd floor."

"Everything is pretty good. It's near transportation (JR station and the central bus station). Hotel is connected to a shopping mall with variety of food choices (even the food court is well visiting - visited the food court more than the other restaurants). Room is clean and spacious for a couple. There's a laundry area with <10 washers and dryers..iirc - some machines are combined wash dry while some were separate wash/dry (probably 3 sets). There were many travellers using them even during the night (11pm ) when we were there and we had to queue for it. No doubt enjoyed my stay and would be better if there's a private onsen. "

"Great hotel near the Asahikawa Station and the Aeon Mall, which was convenient for the Asahikawa Snow Festival (or would have been if I hadn't booked the week before the festival :-) ). The hotel is also, extremely conveniently, in front of a bus stop that comes straight from the airport. Simply stay on the bus until the stop after the station and step into the hotel. For Japan, the size of the twin room is _massive!_ Plenty of room for luggage, clothes storage, and potentially cricket practice (please don't play cricket in your hotel room :-) ). The raised bathroom is, however, the standard 'small' size for a Japanese hotel room, but is perfectly servicable. There's plenty of food options nearby with the main shopping street only a block away (which leads off from the train station), and the Aeon Mall's food court and restaurants are a five minute walk away."

"We cannot recommend La Vista Daisetsuzan enough. We skied Asahi-dake two days and staying here made skiing simple. The front desk was incredibly helpful and kind. The food was delicious, and the onsen was the perfect way to end each day. The hotel is older but updated in all the necessary ways. It has an ageless charm. The room was super comfortable. We absolutely loved every part of our stay. Quick tip: make sure to make your dinner and breakfast reservations before arrival. They send an email a couple of weeks before you arrive. As an English speaker, we missed it as it was in Japanese. "

"We had a wonderful 6 night stay. The staff are amazing and the food is incredible. The room was perfect size for a week or longer stay. Great couch and tv, with usb compatibility. If the bed and pillow were a little softer I would say it’s perfect. It was hard to leave."

"This place was great! Our room was really comfy; had our own bathroom; great kitchen and common space for cooking; laundry facilities; onsen; they also have a ping pong table. Would absolutely stay here again, just make sure to bring your food!"
