"Very clean room and lovely big bed. Didn’t find WiFi password? Found the sports bar good but when sitting nearby couldn’t hear what was being said. Perhaps they need a proper quiet corner for family & friends to meet and chat. Would stay again and staff were lovely on reception. Found breakfast layout slightly trickier and didn’t flow for us. Saying all that would stay again. Had a lovely room with balcony and view of the river"

"Nice hotel but the room was a little tired with signs of wear and damage. The heating wasn't working and I had to advise reception who left a portable heater in the room. It's surprising how often this happens in other hotels, not just here, and suggests a lack of maintenance."

"Excellent stay in the city centre, close to everything. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless, the breakfast was excellent value for money and very tasty."

"Did not drive . But there is parking at the side of the Hotel Hotel and staff was great Hotel value for money Wide range of shops across the road. Reading train station close by. An bus stops outside the hotel. Will stay again "

"Rooms need improved maintenance. They aren't as good as the ones in Kings Road. Lift also in need of immediate maintenance. Last minute (same day the reservation started) moved me to a room on a fight floor without lift access (4th to 5th floor by stairs) without asking if there was any mobility concerns or if I agreed with the change. "

"Decent bed and shower, nice enough staff, and overall an average hotel stay. I’m giving it three stars because I was a bit disappointed with the breakfast. I had higher expectations when it said breakfast was included, but there was very little available. The selection was really small and there was hardly anything to choose from. The breakfast buffet definitely needs improvement. That said, the stay itself wasn’t bad overall."
