I would give the place 10 points! And that's because it was worth the money during the time we were there. Although it's not a 5 star hotel and even an old one with an all inclusive service that is still stuck in time... At the same time, you can enjoy the service that the hotel offers both in terms of food, rooms and service. The food - needs improvement! Both in terms of quality and in terms of serving. You can at least upgrade the way of serving to be more respectable! The rooms - different types, some are small, but comfortable. You can always improve with new mattresses and even an air conditioner or refrigerator that makes noise at night. The service - this is actually the strong point of the place! It makes up for everything else... The staff at the reception is amazing, attentive and respectful of every question and request. The waiters in the restaurant and the Kissaot bar are always smiling and available for any question or request. Overall, I would recommend everyone to come, especially the apartments and the attitude! Thanks to the staff at the reception, restaurant and bar!!!

Very bad service, the room was not fresh, the cocktails was very bad and the food was very bad. It was so bad that we didn’t stayed at the night.

Alt var fint. Maten var god. Personalet var hyggelige. Romservice fikk vi hverdag. Bassenget var liten men gjorde jobben. Det var nok solsenger til alle. Beliggenheten til hotellet var også bra i forhold til de store byene rundt omkring på øst Kreta. Det eneste minuset var badet og toalettet på rommet. Når man tok en dusj, ble hele badet flommet med samme vann. Vannet gikk veldig dårlig/tregt gjennom sluk.

Der Service was außergewöhnlich und selbst für uns, die sehr penibel sind was Sauberkeit angeht, gab es nichts auszusetzen. Die Anlage ist nicht mehr die Neueste aber sehr gepflegt. Das Essen war ebenfalls hervorragend, wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

La Struttura non e’ da 4 stelle . Troppo piccola, sembra una struttura a condizione familiare . Intrattenimento zero a parte una band 1 volta a settimana , nessun altro show …. Per il resto animazione assente a parte per i bimbi un piccolo spazio la sera da parte di 1 staff che cerca di intrattenere i bimbi . 1 solo bar a bordo piscina anche essa piccola e piccolo , 1 zona spa massaggi 2 lettini per i clienti . Un grande giardino con sedie a straio , amache e lettini matrimoniali ma alcuni sono rotti come le sdraio . Pavimentazione esterna in cenento , giardino non mantenuto come piante o erba a prato inglese non tagliata o secca , cavi elettrici o luci esterne rotte . Zona pranzo o cena o colazione sono 1 esterna ed 1 interna , il Personale cerca di fare o dare un buon servizio ma tanti non sono Professionali nel servizio o disponibili o accoglienti . esternamente pieno di gatti che vogliono del mangiare , sono belli da vedere ma non tanto igenico per chi vuole mangiare . Il cibo e’ vario ma anche qui le pietanze non sono tanto particolari per le 4 stelle dell’hotel . Camere non tanto grandi a volte sporche , porte antincendio gonfie che non chiudono bene , docce in camera con i segni gialli di pipi sulle piastrelle . Bagni comuni non sempre puliti ma lasciati inattesi sporchi . Spiaggia assente , uscendo di fronte Spiaggia aperta a tutti ma non mantenuta , piena di pietre bisogna spostarsi a destra o sinistra camminare circa 300 mt in entrambe le parti per avere la sabbia

HoteL gouves bay

Hôtel dans le couloir aérien. L hôtel ne mérite pas ces 4 étoiles. Chambre vu sur un terrain de l hôtel à l abandon et spartiate. La douche de la salle de bain donne sur les toilettes pas pratique pour sortir, pas de rideau ni de par douche à chaque fois on inonde la salle de bains. Le restaurant décevant les œufs sont en poudre, pas de saveur, les jus d orange et autres sont des sachets chimique. La plage il n y en a pas on est certes en bord de mer avec une route à traverser en guise de plage une petite bande de rocher. Les abords de l hôtel ne sont pas entretenus voir à l abandon. L’eau de La piscine n est pas chaude 18 c en plein mois de mai Franchement je ne recommande pas

Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!

Saubere kleine familiäre Hotelanlage. Essen und all incl. Angebot war sehr gut, für den Preis. Freundliches Personal. Vor den Hotel kann man nicht direkt ins Meer gehen, da dort Steine sind, man muss ca 200 Meter zum Strand gehen.

Tolle Lage, nicht weit vom Sandstrand entfernt. Schöner Park mit viel Grün wo man auch liegen kann. Essenauswahl war sehr gut, Geschmack ebenfalls sehr gut. Nur die Betten waren für uns hart wie Stein, das war nicht so toll.

Super semaine passée dans cette hotel chambre propre , animations tous les soirs au saint de l'hotel buffet variés . Personnel agréable et souriants. Nous sommes à 25 minute d'Heraklion nous avons fait apelle à taxi service crete pour y passer une journée et nous avons apprécié la sympathie du chauffeur . Endroit calme parfait pour ce d'étendre au bord de la plage , restaurants et commerce a 5 minute a pied .

Das Essen hat uns leider gar nicht geschmeckt, wir haben uns lediglich nur von Pommes ernährt. Sind deshalb eher außerorts essen gegangen, obwohl All-Inklusive gebucht war. Die Cocktails waren auch gar nicht empfehlenswert. Wurden immer mit Wasser oder so gemischt und einfach nicht lecker! Das ganze Bad war nach der Dusche komplett nass, hier wäre eine größere Duschkabine oder Ähnliches sinnvoller. Der „Strandbereich“ vom Hotel ist komplett steinig und nicht empfehlenswert, dann lieber 5 min weiter laufen zum nächsten Sandstrand mit Gebühren. Die 2 jungen Leute von der Animation waren sehr nett und motiviert, hat Spaß gemacht :) Mehr liegen am Pool wären auch nicht schlecht, da die Leute vom Vortrag die meistens besetzt haben und man sehr schlecht eine Liege bekommen hat. Hotel war sauber.

Wir verbrachten bereits das 6. Mal unseren Urlaub für 1 Woche in Gouves. Das 1. Mal im 4 Sterne Gouves Bay Hotel. Die 4 Sterne sind verdient. Zimmer, Reception, Restaurant 4 volle Sterne!!! Freudliche Begrüssung an der Reception. Saubere Zimmer mit Balkon inkl. Klima-Anlage. Das Highlight: Das Restaurant und sein Personal. Was diese Personen geleistet haben Hut ab! Und immer freundlichst. 5 Sterne verdient!!! Buffet ständig frisch aufgefüllt zusätlich "Heisse Theke" mit nettem Koch als Mittelpunkt!!!

Gradevole Hotel situato a due passi dal Mare. Struttura gradevole con persone Cordiale e Sempre Disponibile. Servizi nella Media. Ristorante con Buon Servizio ma Cibo per me poco Gradevole. Poca Varietà di Cibo di Frutta e di Dolci. Peccato. Bar poco Assortito. Complimenti a Tutto il Personale Veramente Cordiale e Sempre Disponibile. Da Vacanza Relax.

Nonostante ci eravamo accordati con delle email per il trasporto dall'aereoporto all'albergo prima dell'arrivo, una volta arrivati in aereoporto non ci sono venuti a prendere, e la loro risposta e' stata che non ne sapevano niente. Il personale e' scortese e l'animazione non adatta ad italiani perche' russa.

Well situated for the beach and amenities.

This hotel is as stated above is well situated for the beach (which is very narrow) and all local bars and shops. Gouves is a pleasant resort but spread over a large area comprising of the seafront, two streets with shopping and bars/restaurants, and about a mile of seafront with shops and restaurants, spread thinly along the front. We were the only British people in the hotel, all the other guests were eastern european and Russian. This was in no way a problem to us as they were all well behaved and quiet. The hotel rooms were pleasant and reasonably equipped with a kettle and fridge. The bathroom was clean and recently renovated with an excellent shower. The food was acceptable, but largely catered for the eastern europeans (understandably). All in all the hotel makes a good base for a cheap break in Gouves, we ate out most of the time and used the hotel for drinks and snacks during the day. You get exactly what you pay for, at best I would give somewhere between 2-3 stars, but no complaints!
