Great location

Very well placed for Hermanus centre, but away from the beaches. Lovely rooms and excellent suites. Very useful to combine suite plus room for a family stay. Hotel does not have a restaurant, but it's surrounded by good food places. Breakfast across the road is outstanding.

A good hotel for a family with small children

Our stay in Quarters Hermanus was perfectly pleasant and as a hotel to go with a baby it was very convenient. We stayed in a suite room which had a separate living room and kitchen which were a good size but the open plan bathroom was a little bit of a problem when the baby went to bed! We had to use the lobby toilet after she'd gone to sleep...but that's a minor issue. A couple of small complaints: 1) our bedroom window was right over the extractor fan of the restaurant below so there was a slightly irritating humming sound in our room all day, until the restaurant closed at 11. The baby seemed to quite like it in any case... 2) the housekeeping service didn't replace shampoo and shower gel so we kept running out 3) the floors weren't thoroughly cleaned so crumbs etc were often left when we came back in the evening All very minor points but all in all a very nice stay for a small family

Hermanus - great accommodation

Only stayed one night - the accommodation is in a fantastic location a stones throw from the "promenade". Room was large and very well presented - the kitchen and fridge provided would have been useful if stay was longer. Parking underneath so safe (and free!!).

Hotel liegt sehr schön, von beiden Seiten Blick auf das Meer, grosse Räume und viel Platz, ordentlich und sauber, Service sehr gut, frühstücken gegenüber in der Crêpes sehr gut Leider war Freitag abend und der Lärm auf der Straße war außergewöhnlich laut, Autos starteten extrem laut unter dem Fenster, nach 12:00 war Gott sei dank Ruhe

I chose Quarters Hermanus for its location and I was not disappointed. The suite had a great view and was walking distance from all the major restaurants and shops. The rooms were comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful – we really enjoyed our stay.

Good value for money

Staying off-season gives the advantage of significant discounts for what is already a good value for money - a large suite with a full kitchen. The open bathroom is perhaps not for everyone but the rest of the room is just perfect for a short or longer stay in Hermanus!

This is the best place to be in Hermanus, elegance, grace, private and the eateries around the area, including proximity to the seafront makes this an amazing place. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION

We stayed in a suite. The suite consisted of a comfortable sitting room (sofa plus chairs) which incorporated a kitchen with a dining room table. The bed room and bathroom were conjoined but with a separate loo. Bifold sliding doors opened onto a patio, which had a partial sea view and a good view of Hermanus itself. The room was immaculately clean and was in excellent condition. Quarters hotel is the place to stay in Hermanus it is in the heart of the town overlooking the old harbour. Everything is within easy walking distance of the hotel.

Great Hotel!

My stay at the Quarters Hermanus was quite nice and a great value. The condition and location of the hotel are great, just steps away from the beach, cafes and shopping. Excellent and friendly service. The very weak internet which can only be accessed with vouchers was a let down though.

Great location, right by the water and restaurants

Fantastic location puts you a 50m walk from the footpath for strolling and viewing whales. Also situated right near top rated restaurants including The Burgundy and The Barefoot Chef. Breakfast at the deli next door (Oscars) is included and good quality, and parking is free. The hotel itself looked recently remodeled, although our air conditioner didn't work and the adjustable shower did not stay put, making it hard to shower.

Breathtaking Views & Friendly Service

We had a wonderful stay. The staff are very helpful and pleasant, even going as far as arranging for the whales frolicking in the bay! LOL We have a son & daughter in the hotel industry and tend to be rather critical at times but we could not fault either the staff or hotel! It is the perfect destination. For once in my life I found the bed and pillow to be more comfortable than mine at home!
