Just the one night, but a really nice place with amazing views. The staff very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was really good. A great place to stay if you are visiting Herefordshire. Would recommend.
Lovely hotel in fantastic setting, views were great. Room was very spacious, staff helpful and engaging and breakfast was lovely. Would definately return.
Beautiful property with scenic views of the countryside, lovely big room with original features made the most of but served with all mod cons...breakfast was delicious. Thank you Longworth for a lovely stay...
Lovely hotel in beautiful location.
Our room was really big and the view was so beautiful.
Breakfast was very nice indeed, just enough; we went for the full English.
The young lady who manages the hotel is very helpful and knowledgeable about the hotel’s history.
Definitely one to consider again when we go back to Herefordshire.
Set in a very quiet area. Lovely views from our very spacious room overlooking the gardens.
Unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy the breakfast as we had to leave before they started serving at 8am
The building is lovely full of quirky old world charm. It has a countryfied rural feel but is close enough to Hereford and the Wye Valley for easy access to sites and tourist destinations. The staff were very friendly and could not have been more helpful. We had one of the circular end rooms which was delightful with great views. Breakfast was tasty and cooked well. We had a meal one evening which was delicious and not too expensive. Would go back again.
good and bad - no restaurant on Monday and Tuesday (very isolated and nearest pubs miles away - breakfast between 8 & 9 only (no good for me) - double bed was 2 singles pushed together and uncomfortable
special mention to Gemma & Jessica who couldn't do enough to help the situation

Set in a stunning rural location, just 4 easy miles outside Hereford this lovely 17th Century, listed building is a real pleasure to visit and stay in.
Kim greeted us at reception and kindly helped with our luggage . Her husband Gareth is the chef and the meals are excellent.Gary is the knowledgeable manager and gave us lots of background history re the building.
If you want a superb view from your room go for front facing 1,2,3,4 and 9. You won’t be disappointed.
Our room was warm, spotlessly clean and impressively large ( ceiling must have been 12+ feet high ). The communal areas are filled with antique furniture, pictures etc . It was lovely to sit by a real large log fire. Breakfast was large and well cooked.,
We can see why lots of weddings take place in these surroundings.
Would we go back ? Yes without a doubt. Ken and Val. Wales
Friendly staff, lovely quiet location, breakfast very nice, booked the honeymoon suite as a one night treat very large room loved the quirky bath, bed very comfortable, had an evening meal too very tasty, hotel a few miles from the centre of Hereford so ideal for our visit.
The property is beautifully maintained with character and sensitive adornments throughout the common areas and in the room I occupied.
I was made very welcome and the stay was a real pleasure.

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Staff & service
Could have been better
I stayed with my granddaughter in a twin room. It was clean.
As the hotel is an old building I was not surprised that there was no lift but I was surprised and disappointed that no one offered help up the stairs with my suitcase ( I am 65yrs )
The shower was a waste of time as it was the kind which was attached to the taps and water only trickled out.
Breakfast was good.
I won’t be rushing back.
Absolutely loved it. No complaints . Matt & Sylvania perfect host's. Food superb. Fantastic views. Great accommodation
Highly recommended
Many Thanks
See you soon
3 of us stayed here last week and can honestly say it’s one of the best places I have stayed in. Amazing building, full of character and with a real ‘family run’ feel with staff who genuinely care about your stay. Room was huge, spotlessly clean throughout, and the food, both in the evening and breakfast, was outstanding. Will definitely return!
Excellent staff couldn’t do enough to make my stay any better. The room was airy & ultra clean. Food was very good & reasonably priced.
I will definitely stay again
