An absolutely lovely hotel, with a friendly staff. Centrally located and easy to find. All rooms include an incredible breakfast and dinner. We were so pleased with the vast variety, quality and amount of available dishes. An excellent hotel and experience.
Outstanding accommodations in Helsinki!
Friendly, helpful staff, clean and quiet, great amenities and breakfast, fika (coffee), and dinner.
Highly recommend this hotel within walking distance to shopping district and central train station.
Beautiful property, great location, helpful staff, clean comfortable room plus
complimentary breakfast, dinner and afternoon coffee/tea! The courtyard was perfect for coffee and a book! Would love to stay again if the opportunity arises!
A lovely, well maintained property close to main sights and with good transport or active travel options. My room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed and a good sized bathroom. All members of staff were pleasant and helpful - the staff preparing and serving the comprehensive catering offer deserve particular praise. Breakfasts and dinners were varied and plentiful, with an option for afternoon fika too. Overall, a lovely hotel in a great neighbourhood.
This a hotel with lots of character and a friendly, homely feel. Having dinner included is a bonus - simple, everyday food but easy when you are on the move.
This Hotel was a pleasant surprisr. The atmosphere of an old castle was very enjoyable. The included buffet breakfast, Gika (afternoon snack, tea) and dinner makesbit a great value. Convenient location for cruise port. Be aware there are no refrigerators, no USB ports and outlets required European plugs. Staff kindly provided an adapter with USB connector. Highly recommend.
Room was small but clean and comfortable- bed was very good. Breakfast and evening meals were excellent - perhaps 8pm for breakfast is quite late though, we missed breakfast on our last day because we had to leave at 8am.
Great value given meals are included - we really like the Home House Hotels.
A welcoming hotel in a beautiful area. The wellness facilities and gym are very good, and both breakfast and dinner are included and of good quality. The only drawback is the lack of a desk in the room
The included breakfast and dinner weren't just good because they were "included." They were excellent stand alone meals. Fresh, high quality and great variety. The staff was often less than receptive or helpful. I often felt like I was interrupting them from something more important.
I would give it 6 stars if I could! My daughter and I had the most wonderful experience at this hotel. It truly is a home away from home. The staff is so welcoming and kind and the breakfast and dinner were incredible to have. Centrally located but a very peaceful area of the city. Just perfect!
Great hotel, stayed there four times. It seems to be getting a bit more corporate in that they are charging for every extra amenity (umbrella, early check in, etc. ), but the meals are great and the location is perfect. Was a bit noisy this time, lost of banging and clanging, but that’s likely other guests. All in all, would still recommend highly.
Our room was very comfortable. The breakfast and dinner were also very good. The staff helpful and friendly.
The tram was one street away making it easy to get around.
Nice and clean, warm hospitality. Not only breakfast, they serve dinner, which helped my budget a lot. Several cafes and supermarkets are nearby. A little bit smaller room than expected but cozy enough.
I could not possibly be happier with my stay! The guest rooms were beautiful and cozy. The breakfast was the best that I have ever had at a hotel. Dinner was included as well and it was also very good when we stayed in. A beautiful gym that was perfect. The staff was over the top helpful. It will be the only place I will stay when in Helsinki.
We only stayed one night but would definitely stay there again. All the staff we encountered were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They also spoke English which was very helpful for us.
The hotel itself has a delightful, impressive old section with reception and lounge, a library, a games room upstairs, and meals served in the lower level.
There are a lot of stairs and no public elevator. The staff generously assisted a member of our party, with mobility issues, with use of the staff elevator.
Breakfast, fika and dinner were included. There was an impressive variety of options for breakfast and dinner and the quality of the dishes was excellent. The dinner had one main course option but there was soup and so many side dishes and breads available that there were a lot of food options.
The room was very nice and clean.
Would definitely recommend.
Clean room, beautiful cotton sheets.
Breakfast buffet, fika and dinner provided which is unusual in hotels I looked at. Buffet style and lovely salads and fresh made bread (delightful after lots of lacklustre bread elsewhere in Finland!).
The sauna you have to book in advance and is an extra charge.
Helpful staff.
