Unfortunately we were unable to book one of the limited parking spaces belonging to the hotel, so we had to find parking elsewhere. The desk assistant was helpful when we phoned to ask where we should go, but in the end we found our own space, which turned out to be free. We arrived on a Saturday night, and the closed off streets in the area made navigation very difficult. Being better prepared than we were would be advisable! Breakfast was delicious; fresh and plentiful, with something of everything in the help yourself buffet. Apart from our parking problems, this hotel suited us admirably, and was very convenient for the ferry in the morning.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, unweit vom HBF gelegen und ist in zwei gegenĂŒberliegenden GebĂ€uden untergebracht. Mein Zimmer befand sich im NebengebĂ€ude, das Zimmer war recht klassisch ausgestattet. Das Badezimmer war groß, erinnerte einen aber an frĂŒhere Jugendherbergen. Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das FrĂŒhstĂŒck war sehr gut und hatte eine große, aber ĂŒbliche, Auswahl. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass das Abendessen inkludiert war. Hier gab es neben einer kleineren Auswahl an Brot und Wurst, auch ein tĂ€glich wechselndes warmes Gericht. Die öffentlichen ParkplĂ€tze (Straße) am Hotel sind aktuell aufgrund von Bauarbeiten nicht nutzbar, ein PP direkt vor dem Hotel kann aber zum Be- und Entladen genutzt werden (max. 12 Minuten). Der Parkplatz oberhalb des Parks (kostenpflichtig und max. 2 Std.) ist ebenso zum zwischenzeitlichen parken gut nutzbar. FĂŒr die Parkzeit darĂŒber hinaus, empfehle ich den PP bei St. Nicolai. Generell ist die Lage sehr praktisch, um in Helsingborg zu Fuß unterwegs zu sein.

Fantastic staff! Great breakfast and perfect location. Room was big, clean, very soundproof and beds comfortable. Duvets could have been a little nicer. If they updated the rooms a bit, it would have been 5 stars across the board, but it’s pretty out dated, the bathroom sink was cracked and there was only a teeny tiny glass shelf, that was all crooked and falling out of the wall, so there were no storage.

VÀldigt dÄligt skött gammalt fint hotell. Vatten sprutade ut pÄ golvet frÄn handfat. Bytte rum dÀr fönstren inte gick att stÀnga och nÀr vi försökte lossnade hela fönstren och rasade 3 vÄningar ned i backen. Tur att ingen var i vÀgen. Behövs en ordentlig översyn av skicket pÄ rummen.
