The tiny Hellnar church with its cemetery next door to the hotel, the walk to Anarstarpi and the cliffs with all their roosting birds should not be missed. The lava cave is also very good.

"This is a lovely home, well-outfitted, and very cozy! The area feels remote, but there are a variety of activities and beautiful places to explore, and it is a short drive from Reykjavik! Great communication! We’d definitely return!"
