Very charming and comfortable! 3 adults and 1 child stayed here together. More than enough room for everyone and my niece and I loved interacting with the goats each morning of our stay : )
The cottage was awesome, the property was picturesque and the house it self was very well equipped as well as comfortable. Would definitely stay there again
We love this property! This was our second time staying at this home. We love the location and the peacefulness of the grounds. The house has everything we need and we love that we’re allowed to bring our dog. We would definitely stay here again.
Wonderful farm cottage in Hellertown! The fresh eggs provided by the owner was a bonus. Actually had a moment to speak with the owner as she was feeding her goats and chickens when my dog decided to chase three deer that were on the property! Very friendly experience and will not hesitate to stay here again!
The property was clean, just as described. Farm fresh eggs were left for us during our stay. If we come back to the area, we would definitely stay again.
We really enjoyed staying at this lovely cottage. The setting was very quiet. There were goats and chickens right next to the cottage that were quite entertaining. The wood stove kept the cottage warm and cozy. We stayed in the king bedroom and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and was very clean. We would love to return to this property.
We had a nice stay. Our dogs loved the property especially the chickens.
We loved hanging inside with the wood burning stove and morning coffee on the porch watching the chickens. The cottage was very cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was very kind and generous of the owner/property care taker to leave us cut wood and fresh eggs every morning. I definitely recommend staying here and I’m sure I will be back with my family again.
We stayed at Mark’s charming farmhouse and it was perfect. The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The bathrooms and kitchen were immaculate. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was open and well equipped. We loved that the host left us fresh eggs from the chickens next door. The property is beautiful, picturesque and peaceful. Being able to bring our dogs was a real bonus and they loved being able to run around.
Myself and my two Australian Shepherds enjoyed our stay. They had plenty of room to run and our host was very pleasant. We had fresh eggs from the chickens. I entertained my brother and his wife during dinner on Saturday, which we held on the patio. My long weekend stay was peaceful and rewarding. It was a truly wonderful experience.
The location is great, just outside Bethlehem PA. The house has been updated on the inside and was quite nice. We loved seeing the chickens and there is a spring fed creek on the property. The beds were very comfortable, and we enjoyed the wood burning stove as well. Communication with the property owner was great. I enjoyed sitting on the front porch drinking coffee every morning. We highly recommend this location. We will plan on staying here if it is available the next time we come to the area. If i could rate it higher I would.
The house was neat/clean, and the beds comfy. The setting was a bit too rural for us. The kitchen was not well equipped for cooking. The shower did not drain well, and we were standing in water. Additionally there were large bees.
Cozy home with excellent updates and rustic charming features. Comfortable couch, beds, covered porch with gorgeous scenery. The chickens and goats were a treat! As were the eggs. Nearby to hiking, colleges, restaurants.
Plentiful towels and blankets. The bedrooms upstairs were comfortable but the lack of doors and wood floors allowed noise to really travel in the spaces. We also had to go through one of the small bedrooms to access the full bathroom. The water pressure in the shower was on the low side, and did notice a little cloudiness to the water In general.
Responsive and pleasant hosts.
If you enjoy something different from the hustle and bustle of town, and want the true feeling of Pennsylvania life, stay here. The covered porch with ceiling fans was so relaxing to enjoy in the evening. Fresh eggs from the henhouse next door were delivered to our porch each day. The caretaker was so friendly, and the owner responded to every question that we had. The air conditioning units worked wonderfully to keep us cool both day and night. Having no doors on the bedrooms was not an issue for our family. Being just minutes away from the University where our grandson had a national lacrosse tournament was very handy. Please don’t overlook this place, It’s a gem.
We spent a confortable and enjoyable snowbound weekend with our grandchildren. The kids especially enjoyed interacting with the goats and chickens and making large snowballs. Our only criticism was there could be more light in the main room.
Property was pet friendly but the stairs were a bit of challenge for older adults/dogs. Otherwise, loved our stay. The neighbors were adorably friendly & curious.
