We had a third person who slept on the pull out chair. It needed a topper to make it more comfortable. Our main bed was very good. Also we could use better pillows. It got cold at night and there were no extra blankets. Otherwise we were very pleased.

My wife and I stayed for three nights. There were several problems both in communication by the hosts and in the apartment itself. We were only told by email at 13.30 on the day of our arrival at Heidelberg that the accommodation had changed from BoardingWorld to a Nomad Apartment in a nearby street. The BoardingWorld office was closed (it is only open 09.00-17.00), and access was by safe box and although we had registered as two guests there was only one keycard. (We got another the next morning). The apartment was up several flights of stairs with no lift. The bathroom door snagged on the uneven floor and would not open more than about 35cm. The apartment was very warm and the fan supplied was noisy and of limited use. There are two sets of curtains, one set was very thin and let the light in. The apartment has a small but neat balcony with space for two to sit at a table, and the small kitchen section (basically in a cupboard alongside the wardrobe) is ok for small-scale self-catering, but overall place was let down by a lack of attention to detail. A shame, because with a little more effort the accommodation would be OK.

The Boarding House Heidelberg is the perfect location for you to stay and explore the delightful city. The apartment was spacious with great decor, spotlessly clean, crisp white linen and a large comfortable bed. Only criticism would be the terrible pillows - suggest much better ones needed. The apartment also gives you a spacious bathroom with powerful shower and hairdryer. The small kitchen area is fully equipped with all you need to rustle up food, a fridge, kettle and coffee maker with very good supplied coffee bags, whitener and sugars. The room was very quiet with the windows closed but maybe noisier if they were needed to be open. The lovely lady on reception was very friendly and helpful. We were able to park our motorcycle in the underground parking. This place is a bargain price but offers so much, we would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Nice spacious room. Excellent kitchenette with hot plate and microwave and fridge. Staff super friendly and were able to check us in early when we expected to just leave bags. A washing machine would have been top addition to kitchenette, or maybe a couple of machines in the basement, but I really can't complain and would most definitely stay again. Thank you!

The front door of this hotel never fully locked. Which meant anybody could walk in and out whenever they wanted to. Typically they had a key card access that would let you in and out if you were staying at the hotel, but that was broken. Which meant at any time of day any person who is not staying at the hotel was able to come in Had full access to the hotel. The floor that we were staying on had painting materials and looked like it was being redone. So when we woke up the next morning, there were gentlemen outside painting, and there was paint droplets everywhere, which is not ideal when you’re staying in a hotel and having to worry about not getting stuff on your clothes.

So so

We enjoyed the property, and it was in the middle of everything in Heidelberg, but a couple of grapes. We have our that we paid for parking, and it ended up not having a spot so we had to jam ourselves into the parking lot, and at one point, we lost our key card and got back to the hotel, and no one was behind the desk, and it was not that late at night.
