The open-concept living room offers plenty of comfortable seating, a smart TV for streaming, and a decorative fireplace that adds warmth and charm. A minisplit system ensures the perfect temperature year-round, so you can always settle in with ease.
The beautifully updated kitchen blends modern style with functionality, featuring sleek appliances, open shelving, a dishwasher, oven and range, microwave, and coffee maker. A separate dining area surrounded by windows provides a bright and inviting space to enjoy meals together while taking in the views.
Step outside to a spacious deck designed for relaxation and gathering. Privacy panels create a sense of seclusion, while outdoor dining, string lights, a propane grill, and a fire pit make it the perfect place to enjoy evenings under the stars. The wooded surroundings provide natural beauty and plenty of areas to explore right outside your door.

In the Area:
The Woods Resort (distance from house - 5 mins): a private community with an 18-hole golf course (with low green fees), spa, a restaurant and pub, and miles of walking/hiking trails. It’s considered the best course in the area, and the food is pretty great too. Be sure to check out the new enclosed dining pavilion or mobile kitchen for order-to-go!
During your stay, you'll have access to the members-only Sports Center, the perfect option for a wintery or rainy day. The Sports Center includes:

Historic Downtown Berkeley Springs (distance from house - 30 mins): Charming and full of unique shops, art galleries, and locally-owned restaurants. It's a great place to spend a day browsing and exploring. Be sure to check out Berkeley Springs Antique Mall and weekend Farmer’s Market and Art Walk for unique finds.
Berkeley Springs Brewing Company (distance from house - 30 mins): After a day of exploring, relax at Berkeley Springs Brewing Company, where you can sample craft beer made right in the area and listen to live music. It’s a cozy spot to unwind and chat with locals and the best part is you can walk back to the chalet from there!.
Berkeley Springs State Park (distance from house - 30 mins): One of the most famous attractions in the area. Known for its natural warm springs, the park features historic bathhouses where you can relax in mineral-rich waters. The park also has lovely walking paths, a gazebo, and a beautiful pond.
Cacapon Resort State Park (distance from house - 40 mins): Hiking, picnicking, and stunning views of the Appalachian Mountains. It’s an excellent place for outdoor activities like hiking, golf, and wildlife watching. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat, the park’s Cacapon Mountain trail provides an excellent hike with panoramic views.
The Ice House (distance from house - 30 mins): A local arts center that features art galleries, performances, and workshops. It's a great spot to view works by local artists and see community events.
C&O Canal/Paw Paw Tunnel (distance from house - 1 hour): Historic path along the Potomac; nice for biking, walking, scenic views.
