「Amazing property albeit small in a wonderful location. 」

「Lea Hurst is a fantastic place to stay , Quiet and secluded. The house is beautifully restored and the room was superb good views over the countryside,, Jen was a superb host and made us feel welcome in her home. Excellent breakfast and the canal path only 5 minutes walk through the garden. Good location for visiting all of the Peak District. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to return 」

「We stayed here for 1 night whilst touring the peak district on our motorbikes. Plenty of parking and security cameras to ensure a good night's sleep. Our room was very comfortable and decorated to a high standard. The shower was big with great water pressure. We had an evening meal which we would rate as excellent, plenty of very friendly staff and a short wait for our food. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful and varied. 「ゴルフ場が経営しているホテルで、格調がある。また、周囲は広大なゴルフ場であるため、静かに自然の中で時間を過ごしたい人には打って付けの場所。 リフトがないので、階段を使って荷物は運ばねばならないので、重いときは大変。また、最上階の部屋だったが天窓のみで、外の風景が見えなかったのは残念。 夕食は広大な敷地を眺めながら取れる。starterのoliveは美味しく、一緒についてきたパン(ロール）はイギリスで食べたパンの中でも最高でした。（朝食にはそのパンは出てこなかった。）」

「The staff at The Bear Inn are terrific: it’s a family-run business and nothing was too much trouble. You soon will get to know everyone’s name a they will remember yours; it’s the little things that set a small country Inn apart from the bigger and soulless enterprises.
