"The first room offered to us smelled so badly of cigarette smoke and mold/musty. The bathroom floor had visible clumps of black hair on the bathroom floor (gross) and old french fries in the corner by one of the beds. We requested a room change, which was honored...the second room was on a fully recently renovated floor and was much nicer...but the door handle was installed upside down (which made it very challenging to both enter and exit the room) and the hallways still smelled musty. The front desk staff person on Saturday evening (until 11:00 pm) was amazing. the front desk staff person on Sunday morning was horrible (she was outside smoking so we waited for her...when she didn't return after 5 minutes, I approached her outside (while smoking) and asked her if she could have the towels refreshed in our room. She said "of course" but when we returned to the property that evening, it had not been done."

"I had a wonderful experience staying here. The room was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. The air conditioning worked perfectly, making the stay relaxing even during warm weather. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. Another great advantage was the convenient location, with plenty of shops and amenities nearby, making it easy to find everything I needed. Overall, the hotel provided excellent service, comfort, and value for money. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to other travelers. 😊"

"If you haven't been to Macos Mountain, you don't know what your missing! We have stayed at 2 of his cabins now, and can't wait to visit again. The pictures do not do the property justice. I honestly can't explain how beautiful the cabin and view are. Communication with the owner is top notch. Be sure to consider buying a tshirt. When he delivers them, he can tell you about the property and surroundings. We enjoyed talking to him. Nothing like sitting in the hot tub or out by the fire pit and breathing in fresh air and looking at the mountains. We had daily visits from wild turkeys, deer and white tail rabbits. Our 5 year old granddaughter loved it! She was upset that we had to leave. She also became a champ at Ping Pong - she insists we buy a table...lol. If I could have stayed there the whole summer I would have! We got our exercise just by walking up and down the lane in the gated area. It'll give you a nice workout. There's a treadmill there, but nothing beats fresh air! I promise you will be pleasantly surprised with this property!"

"Beautiful view of the mountains and the sunrise! The master bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space. There is a nice deck! The WiFi worked well. We used this as a place to stay to serve at Big Creek Missions.Be sure to download Google Maps, as you won’t have a signal. The property owner gave great directions to find it, once in the road. Be careful with Google Maps, as it did tell us to turn right randomly (don’t drive off of the mountain into the creek). We will likely book again!"
