Property was clean and tidy, handy to town, plenty of parking and staff pleasant. Only thing is that the beds in the units with view are terrible. Have stayed here many times and that's the only thing oh and the room smelt smokey for some reason.

Comfortable and very convenient position

We enjoyed our stay at Havelock Motel and Motor Lodge. The service was good and the room was serviced both days of our stay, in some other motels it was not serviced after the first night. There was also a hot tub near the pool which we used and enjoyed.

The accommodation was adequate and practical, but the coffee was low grade and linen service spotty. Our friends’ unit linen was not changed after two nights of the 3-night stay. Our room linen was not changed the second night of stay. Toiletries were adequate. We liked the location, view, and proximity to Marlborough wine country. With some simple improvements, this is a repeat property for most. The manager was most helpful. Nihal and 3 others in 2 rooms for 3 nights.
