Flooded with natural light and filled with fun details, this lovely home has plenty of room for both groups and individual guests to enjoy themselves. A public beach is just down the road, and guests will enjoy close proximity to various Harwich Port attractions during their stay, but once you step inside, you may not want to leave! Highlights include a tranquil screened-in porch, a stylish contemporary kitchen, and access to a private patio for alfresco cooking and dining. The sunny upstairs loft features two desk work stations, perfect for remote work or schooling. Cozy nooks are all throughout this space, as well as skylights. Relaxation comes easy in this peaceful home by the shore.

The fireplace is not currently available for use.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We had a good stay and house is as described. It’s in a nice neighborhood with an easy walk to the beach. Stairs to the upstairs are steep, so plan for who can stay up there.

This is an exceptionally comfortable house. We enjoyed everything about our stay.The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the screened porch for morning coffee. The location was great. It's an easy drive to the towns and a few lovely shops are even within walking distance. The beach is only a block away so daily walks were a highlight. We hope to return to this gem of a house!

Home was located in a quiet neighborhood just minutes walking distance to a small beach and shops/restaurants. The website listing showed positive review after positive review. But upon arrival, it was obvious something wasn't adding up. The property had an air of neglect. We were greeted at the side door with a broken wooden step and a handwritten sign to not use that entrance. I'll list what we encountered: stains on upholstered furniture & rugs, broken dresser drawer, serious mite/ant problem in kitchen and one of the bathroom sink/counters, hole in the back door screen, moldy a/c unit, burned out lightbulbs, dirty oven, crumbs or whatever in utensil drawer. Vacasa 'manages' the property and I have since learned thisi s a big 'red flag'. I am concerned that the reviews I saw on-line are not legitimate and that Vacasa withholds negative reviews. I submitted a review to Vacasa on 9/23/25 and it does not appear. I would advise anyone looking at this property to understand that the reviews and photos are not representative of the actual property. I have consistently had great experiences with VRBO when the owner is the 'host'. This was my first time renting a property where Vacasa is the 'host' and after on-line research into Vacasa I now believe they do not accurately represent their properties. I will be more careful in the future. Meanwhile, I am looking into how Vacasa can be held accountable for a fraudulent listing.

Charming Cottage, Great Location...

We had a wonderful 1-week stay at Seaside Sanctuary cottage. The unit was very clean, had a well appointed kitchen and very comfortable beds. It was situated in a quiet, safe neighborhood, 1 block away from the beach. A grocery store, coffee shop and gas station were within 1 mile. It was a perfect location to stay at while we explored Cape Cod and we would happily stay there again.

A great VRBO on Cape Cod!

For anyone looking for a quiet, clean, and SAFE property, this is what you have been looking for! The neighborhood is quiet and very safe. The home is a beautiful cape house, with a 1 minute walking time from the beach. Chatham is 10 minutes and downtown is a very nice area - especially the Squire! The beds are extremely comfortable, the house comes fully stocked with toiletries, kitchen needs, and any utensils you need. The kitchen is very nice and can be used to cook any meal you choose. Upstairs is small, but has a nice book nook at the top of the stairs and a nice second bedroom. Outside, the porch is glassed in and weather-proof. It is the perfect area for a morning meal or cocktail hour after a long busy day! I will definitely be staying here again!

Very cute nice home

The home was very nice had everything. Just some communication problems with where trash barrels were and what days trash days are. Also one text said to start towels when leaving and another said start sheets. Started sheets and left all the rest next to washer and dryer. Had a wonderful week.

“Very Frustrating Beginning”

Upon entering house, previous renters belongings were still in the house along with a filthy mess of laundry, open containers of food, hangers of wet clothes hanging from the fireplace mantle, dirty diapers, underwear on floor, and bottles of alcohol all over the place! We were unable to talk to the local agent, that is totally unacceptable. Finally a woman showed up who had to call 4 other people just to unload the previous renter’s belongings, 2 car loads! We finally got into the house at 6:00. At 10:08 pm the previous renters came back and were banging on the doors, yelling, and shining flashlights in the windows. We had to call the Harwich Police. At 11:00 pm the police said they spoke to the renters and told them their property had been removed and they wouldn’t be bothering us again. Neither my wife nor myself slept the entire night in fear of the people coming back. Next morning as we sat on the porch they came back and demanded we let them in the house to look for more of their stuff. I wouldn’t let them in, a heated discussion followed, I finally went down to the basement and found a bunch of their wet clothes which I dropped outside. We were offered a rebate of our cleaning fee, this was almost insulting for what we went through, considering that we couldn’t get in touch and speak directly with the local agent just makes the whole experience all the more disappointing in your customer service and our satisfaction as consumers. Great location, very cozy, charming and clean!!!

Loved the location. amenities and charm. Couldn’t get the TV to work so that was a bit of a bummer due to the World Cup! Just an FYI….
