The place and the rooms are lovely. However a couple details were not the best. There is no coffee in the room and the hot water heater would not turn on. Also I had asked for a wake up call, but then there was no wake up call on the date requested. Staff is lovely though and included breakfast was great.

Room was spacious and clean. No desk or chair in the room is not great if you need to do any work. Also during our stay, at least in the room WiFi wasn’t available. Also, room wasn’t cleaned when we returned late in the afternoon so overall not a great experience. Additionally, there was no breakfast available other than a little table stocked with a few plain bagels and sad muffins. Was in a dark section in front of the bar area, leaving a ‘dingy’ impression - so we grabbed breakfast elsewhere.

The outside of this historic hotel is stunning. I could tell someone put effort into the interior design but I don’t know, it felt a bit generic and sterile to me. I found it odd that the bar was closed on Monday.

The Staff at the hotel are polite and helpful. For those with an allergy to synthetic fabrics, the bedding/body/facial/hand towels are 100% Cotton. Didn’t have a chance to dine at Bar Max, but it looks cools.

The location of the hotel was extremely convenient. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and attractive. The continental breakfast was good. I was disappointed with the pillows and the mattress. There were no pillows firm enough for side sleeping. I had to use a bath towel to give the pillow some substance. The mattress also did not have movement isolation and moved greatly whenever one person moved a little bit.
