This is a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom cabin. It has the best lakeview on the lake from the enclosed porch. This cabin is fit to sleep maximum 7. The cabin is steps away from the water. The marina offers overnight mooring for your watercraft, paddle board and canoe rental, low gas prices, and a store with carry-out food.

It was nice we just stayed overnight we were in town for my husband to have an interview and we wanted something more than just a hotel even though it was only for one night we thought we could go swimming in the lake but couldn't oh well though it was still nice

Very quiet and small town feel! Truly loved the facility, owner and property manager were amazing. Lake was so fun and able to visit other marinas without being lost in the middle of all the party goers. Genuinely enjoyed the experience despite some personal mishaps.

Peace on the Lake

Absolutely adorable little cabin nestled directly on the waters edge. A minutes walk from the boat ramp and dock. Very homey feeling, nothing fancy, but more than enough to enjoy a weekend away with the family. It’s close to Shakertown village, and only 45 minutes from Lexington. We spent two nights in “big cabin” the kids loved it. Good WiFi connection, YouTube, and Netflix available. The owner was available and friendly. Several small hole in the wall restaurants close by and of course there is a DG close by in case you forget anything you need. We will definitely be staying again in the future. Looking forward to renting a pontoon and hitting the lake next trip. Thanks Cole!!

TERRIBLE!!!!

This was the most disgusting place I have seen. I cannot believe that this place is for rent,let alone on the VRBO site. This place is a disgrace to any rental,and if VRBO cares about a good reputation they will remove this place immediately !!!!!!! W e walked in turned around and left immediately, we couldn't stand the smell it smelled of mold and mildew horribly. DON'T RENT THIS PLACE.

Great place to stay

We had a wonderful time with our stay here. The cleaning lady was so super helpful and sweet and the owners Cole was such a sweet guy and made sure that our stay there was wonderful. I'd recommend this place if you are wanting to just get away a few days and relax and fish. The cabins were so nice inside and our view was absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be back. Dilapidated fishing cabin

Checking in was easy. We just wish someone had been more forthcoming with the state of the cabin. This is a barebones,‘roughing it’ cabin. If you have dogs, are not sensitive to the odor of mildew, and plan to be outdoors the most over your trip this could suit. We only stay one of our four nights due to the odor and general dilapidated state of the cabin. The wall air conditioning units where very old and moldy. We ended up driving 6 hours home instead, so you can imagine our deep disappointment . Full disclosure we asked for two nights to be refunded which was declined, which we understand is part of buyer beware. If you choose to come bring some top sheets for the beds as we just had comforters. There is no cable tv, but WiFi was good. Bathroom/Shower was tiny, but clean. The couch/ chair still had dog hair on them. Very pretty view from the enclosed porch. Nice place to watch the sun set. There is a trailer parked in the driveway on that is very close. With a little TLC this could be more tenable place to stay.

The royalties marine was very, very steep so we had to drive to chimney Rock marine!!

The cabin had a few issues couple burners didn't work, we found leftovers in the oven!! Outside of that it was a very nice beautiful lake and we enjoyed our stay

Cancelled 24hrs after booking. Per your website it said I would get all money back, but didn't.

Cancelled trip. Not fully refunded. Made me pick a rating, but I wasn't there to give me an accurate rating.

cabin stay

Overall experience was good. A few minor things were one of the bedroom air conditioners didn't work this didn't affect us as we only used one room. Hot water in the shower never got past luke warm. only 2 burners on the stove worked (not a major issue we mainly cooked on the grill). We enjoyed cooking on the grill and eating in the screened in porch over the lake.
