"The sunshed is delightful -- the windows over the bed mean a lovely view for falling asleep and waking. The outdoor shower and compost toilet were clean and the shower pressure was great. Heads up if you'll be arriving after dark -- signage is small and the lighting is minimal to non-existent. Also would have been great to have a flashlight in the shed (be sure to bring yours/have your phone charged and ready)."

"Rooms were very clean, decently sized and located in a beautiful area but nearly an hour drive from the main section of Acadia National Park. Breakfast was acceptable but fairly limited. Property had a small hot tub and small sauna but both were only usable for possibly four people at a time so amenities were limited. Stairs up to the rooms did not appear to be in code and were steep so difficult to get the luggage up the stairs."

"The hosts at Acadia Bay Inn are so gracious and personable with excellent suggestions and tips for seeing the area. The breakfasts were gourmet! And the homemade cookies every evening along with the morning homemade biscotti were the best I’ve ever had. My “Blue Sunset” cocktail was memorable as well! Above all of this, the view is the best I’ve experienced anywhere! Peaceful and beautiful!"

"We loved our stay in this beautiful, clean, and quiet home right on the ocean. Our family of four spent an incredible 12 nights on the property cooking homemade meals, sitting out on the deck in the mornings, and enjoying beach bonfires at the fire pit right on the beach out front. The location was also perfect for adventuring - we explored Acadia National Park, local beaches, and delicious food options nearby. The neighbors were also very kind and attentive, available for anything we needed during our stay. As a side note, we loved the minimalist decor with Polish pottery and weaving on the walls. These details made the home feel so cozy and perfect for our relaxed family vacation. Thank you to the hosts for the wonderful summer stay!"
