"We have been coming to Lanzarote for 27 years and have been all over the island but it is the first time we have stayed in Punta Mujeres. This apartment is fantastic. So clean and quiet. The owner is fantastic and easy to contact. The view from the terrace is fabulous. We start for hours just watching the sea and the surfers. Can’t recommend it enough. Easy to walk to some great restaurants on an evening. You will love it. My only regret is that we did not book it for longer."

"Pros: For our first time in Lanzarote me and my husband couldn’t make a better choice! The Villa is placed in a quiet village surrounded my private houses and mountains. The host, Darío, has been really helpful sending us a guide pointing on places to visit and restaurants where to eat. He showed us the house which was clean, furnished and well equipped from the kitchen to the bathrooms. The Villa is nearby some of the most famous spots of the island."

"Pros: Comfortable well equipped house, set in small gated complex, in immaculate gardens with three similar properties, all maintained by the most friendly and helpful couple living in one of the houses. Cons: This is a Naturist village, we were stayed three weeks, and the whole time we were there, one of the houses in the complex was rented out to a None Naturist couple, who had there None Naturist friends over daily, this is something we didn't like, when we enquired, we were told that hat...

"Pros: I enjoyed the peace and quiet of the area. Good swimming opportunities. Fresh local produce in the restaurants. Cons: Ice crystals formed on food in the fridge and had to be disposed of. A wifi connection would have made travel plans made a little easier with e.g., boarding passes and possible flight delays."

"Muy acertado. Aunque debería de cambiar el colchón de una de las camas individuales. La ubicación es muy buena y gracias al garaje para poder aparcar. Es una ciudad donde el aparcamiento está complicado. La atención a la hora de llegada y en aquello que previsamos fue rápida. Recomendable para quien quiera descansar y disfrutar de la isla."

"Can only praise the efforts of management and staff to ensure everything goes well on holiday. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable . Only one wardrobe with limited shelf storage which was a problem. We used the adult only facilities for dining and for pre and post meal drinks. The food was varied and tasty but disappointed not to see a strawberry offering!! Not a problem with Sun loungers around the adult pool although there was always those early risers reserving beds with towels before going for breakfast. We upgraded to all inclusive plus giving daily access to the a la carte restaurant and the adults only bar. Nothing more to pay on the premium drinks and the measures are more than generous. Cocktails are available and freshly prepared. Entertainment in the evening was ok but a bit more suited to younger children. This hotel is situated only 10 minutes by taxi from the airport at a cost of €13 and only a 10 minute walk to the beach. Can recommend for both families and couples. "

Scuba Diving and Great Breakfast and Rooms

"Weather was good but too hot at times. Bed rooms were fab and the scuba diving centre was a highlight for me as it was based on the Hotel Campus. Breakfast was superb . Would look outside to Hotel for Dinner. Very sterile environment. No atmosphere. "

"Great location, the staff were extremely friendly & helpful. Unfortunately the gym wasn't great, loads of stuff not working / missing from what was shown in the photos. And my mother's air con didn't work for 2 days, but she was then moved to a very nice room as soon as possible. We'd stay there again :) "

"This is a beautiful hotel. We were very lucky to get an upgrade and the suite was spacious with a wonderful view overlooking the ocean. Only downside for us was the size of the hotel. We prefer smaller, boutique type hotels and this hotel is quit large. There is also limited places to eat (only one dining room) unless you want to walk to the nearby wharf. "

"Great place to stay for Porter del Carmen old town and harbour. Accommodation is great value for money as a whilst the food in the restaurant was limited choice, it was fairly good for all inclusive buffet. We enjoyed our stay here but was mainly a base for us. Be warned that the property is on s hill with lots of steps so if you have mobility issues then this isn't the property for you. Otherwise give it a go, it's good value for money and plenty of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The main resort strip is about 15 minute walk. "

"Perfect position for the area no cabs needed, right on the sea front a little cove for snorkelling about 5 mins walk. Rooms were clean, clean towels daily, breakfast great variety, dinner buffet only a few times as ate out in local restaurants, so would have liked option of lunch or dinner which would have been worth more to us, will defo be back. "
