"We did not stay here! They would not check us in even though I showed them we had paid on Expedia. They wanted cash from us. They said Expedia doesn’t pay them and they wanted us to pay again. We didn’t because the place looked dirty and unfinished. We left. Now I’m trying to get my money back from Expedia. i got through on chat, Bupindher said someone from Expedia service would email me but they have not."

"Our stay at Te Dalu was exceptional. We loved that the hotel was located a little outside of Ella proper, which allowed for connection with the beautiful environment and scenery while still being convenient to the amenities of the main town. Our room faced the hillside and had a wonderful view of the temple on the hill, and in the morning with opening the balcony doors allowed us to listen to chants and the sounds of birds and monkeys while waking up. "Great stay, very unique"

"This could be something so special. The location itself is amazing and the accommodation for ‘camping’ is incredible. The service wasn’t great however. As kind as everyone was the timings were very off. Being told we needed to be ready for breakfast at 8 and not being served till 9.30. The same for dinner.
