The pictures are not recent. The house has a lot of wear and tear and desperate need of a deep clean. BUGS everywhere inside. In every nook and corner there is a spider or other creepy bugs watching you. Taking a shower? Spiders. Going to the bathroom, spiders. I honestly don’t believe this to be a “house in the woods” issue as much as a poorly sealed home. There were plenty of bath towels, however, not a single hand towel, washcloth, kitchen towel or pot holder. The dish sponges were used and gross. Bought my own. I had to do a decent amount of cleaning before we unloaded our things. There’s a plastic stool in the middle of the kitchen floor that was hiding a gaping hole in the floor. Dangerous. The basement bedroom and bath had a very musty smell to them. The downstairs bathroom shower could not accommodate a taller or larger person. I’m a 5’9 female and had to squat to wash my hair. I asked the spider to help but he just scurried away and I lost site of him which was terrifying. The 1st floor shower was VERY nice after I cleaned around the frame. The property is beautiful and we even had a bonfire. The living room is a decent sized room and great for conversation. There needs to be a better solution for trash. Twice I had to clean up after raccoons getting into the trash because it wasn’t a locking bin.
