Petra was very welcoming right from the booking process. When we arrived we were greeted with a smile and taken on a tour of the property. And what a view she has! The landscaping, the gardens, and of course being right on the water. Just beautiful! Our bunkie was spotless and had everything we needed. Would recommend for sure!

Beautifully situated literally on Lake Erie — two great places to lounge - deck chairs at the water with private access. An upper deck, comfortable seating. The sleeping area is small as indicated in posting - beds comfortable. No AC but the breezes from the lake make sleeping comfortable - loved listening to the waves! The washroom is basic and is down a few steps from the Bunkie - the host is delightful -outside shower was fun- the property is beautifully landscaped and we loved the walking proximity to shops, beach, restaurants and a great coffee shop. It’s basic- what makes it great are the outside spaces!

A great glamping option in the heart of Port Dover! You can see and hear the water right from the bunkie. Property is easy to find, with ample street parking. It's a short walk downtown via the side streets, or along the beach, which made it easy to visit local coffee shops, restaurants, the museum and catch a live performance at the local theatre. Great views from the bunkie of sunrise or sunset, or to watch a thunderstorm roll through. Upon arriving, was initially a bit taken back to discover that a couple of the photos in the listing must be from other options/locations on the property, as the bunkie itself is an approx 8×8 dwelling, with the outdoor shower, indoor toilet and mini kitchenette about 6 steps down from the bunkie in the basement of another dwelling. Outdoor shower has hot water, and provides great views of the lake. With windows on all sides of the bunkie, it really offers the brease and experience of camping, but stability of structured glamping, and there's a great overhead fan for staying cool, and electircal outlets for charging. There's the option for two single cots/beds, or pushed together it made for a comfy double, and great sleeps. We had brought our own camping bedding, but the host provides bedding and also provided towels. One thing that would make it a full 5/5 is if the bunkie were lockable, but it IS technically glamping, and otherwise a truly great stay on Lake Erie, and would absolutely book again. The location is perfect!

Petra met us as we came up the stairs to bunkie from street level. And she was a lovely host Great view, ideal for a single night stop over in Port Dover. Swim pretty much right from her waterfront deck, shared (with host). Outdoor shower is heated. And is semi private. Bring your own shower soaps. Bathroom is not in bunkie, but down a set of outdoor stairs. Toilet and sink. And also has a closet area through bathroom with small fridge, kettle, keurig, two mugs and a set of bowls. Coffee cups were provided. Some things that could be improved: We had to make our bed which was annoying because we were hot and tired from our 65km bike ride getting here. The duvets didn't have covers. No a/c. Windows open for breeze and ceiling fan. No lock on bunkie. It was comfortable and clean once settled. If you have trouble with stairs this would not be a good option.
