The Hotel Neugrabener Hof is a nice choice about a 25 minute journey from Central Station on the S Bahn. The S Bahn station is a 10 minute walk to the hotel. The hotel is on the main road and yet, it is very quiet in the evening. The breakfast buffet counter and tables were set up with loving care. The coffee is a special treat each cup ground to perfection! My room was comfortable and the bath room was recently updated. This made my week's stay in Hamburg most enjoyable!

Nobody speaks English even that they can see where the booking is made and all. No service and they don’t even care and don’t even know about customer care. It was not at all like the pictures and it was like that they took their house and rented it out. I don’t understand how they can call it hotel. I guess they don’t know the meaning of hotel.

Big Varning. A hotel if they dont notice about it. You have to expect your own bathroom in the room. The bathrom was located outside the romm to share with other romm. There is no info about that in the booking or the info about the hotel Very small rom. And the reception was closed when we arrive. we have to call to get the room key from a key box.

convinient place in south Hamburg

There was lack of power outlets. Actually there were more of them in bathroom that room itself. I´m used to bed having outlet at each side.... It´s locaton .... in´t on busy noisy street, so shops are close by, so are the cars. And lastly ... drain in shower could use some tweaking. more water could go in that managed to go out.

We arrived in the night, we called and a nice man gave us the kode to our room. But when we arrived the room it was intensly warm, but cold outside, so we think the heat was on. When we went to bed, we realised we were not alone, we killed over 20 bugs, we dont know what kind. So two of us didnt sleep at all that night, we just looked for bugs to kill all night.

I mistakenly booked this hotel, confusing it with another we’d previously stayed at. Had I read the reviews first, I would’ve looked elsewhere, but with a non-refundable booking, we decided to give it a chance and arrived with open minds. Unfortunately, things went wrong immediately. We arrived just after 8 p.m. on a Thursday to find reception closed, despite the hotel listing a 24/7 front desk. I called the number on the door and was told I had to pay an additional tourism tax before receiving the key. There was no mention of this tax on the hotel or Hotels.com site, and the listing clearly stated that any additional fees were due at check-out. The exterior didn’t inspire confidence either—groups of men standing around smoking and drinking. I wanted to leave then, but my wife was exhausted after a long day of travel so I paid the fee and we got the key. Upon entering the room we were hit with a stale cigarette smell and loud noise from what sounded like a party next door. With no real front desk support and the likelihood of getting no sleep in a smelly room, we quickly decided to leave. We called the Delphi Hotel in Neu Wulmstorf and, within 20 minutes, were warmly welcomed into a fresh, modern room. Hotel Neugrabener Hof may be cheap, but it offers little value. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Die Heizung war kaputt es wurde eine elektroheizung in den Raum gestellt. Der handgriff vom Fenster, der zwei Monate vorher schon kaputt war, wurde noch nicht repariert.

Das Zimmer war sauber und für uns beide definitiv groß genug! Die Matratzen etwas hart, aber trotzdem nicht unangenehm. Danke nochmal an die Rezeptionistin, die den späten Checkin möglich gemacht hat und uns auch direkt Frühstück mit dazugebucht hat! Parkplätze gibt es übrigens auch genug ;) Wir kommen auf jeden Fall nächstes Jahr wieder! ❤️

Der var ingen i receptionen. Vi var nok de eneste gæster. Der var ingen morgenmad. Det personale der var kom for at få nøglen og modtage betaling af skat, hvilket ikke var uden problemer da personen hverken talte tysk eller engelsk. Parkering var ok og værelset var fint

So manches war nicht wirklich geputzt oder etwas der Föhn nur provisorisch an eine Steckdose geklemmt, ich als Elektriker kann nur sagen das ist nicht nur brand- sondern auch lebensgefährlich. Ansonsten war der Aufenthalt OK.

Zum Übernachten hat es gereicht

Seifenspender waren bei Ankunft leer. Wurde auch nicht aufgefüllt, obwohl es am Anreisetag mitgeteilt wurde. Keinen Zimmerservice erhalten. Benutzte Klamotten vom Vorgast im Schrank noch gefunden. Hotel befindet sich an einer viel befahrenen, großen Kreuzung. Bei geöffnetem Fenstern wegen der Hitze (keine Klimaanlage) Oropax zu benutzen für einen erholsamen Schlaf.
