「Unfortunately our stay was marred by the fact that the bathroom bin had not been emptied and contained the previous residents used sanitary products!!! The shower took 25 minutes to drain and, whilst we understand the logistics of old manor houses, if the plumbing is not up to standard then this should be at least mentioned on booking. 「Looked ok in reception but that’s as good as it got , very out dated and not a great deal worked in the room . Very nearly boiled the kettle for a coffee in the morning before looking in it . Never seen anything like that before . When reeling off the stuff wrong with the room the staff were not bothered at all . Was charged £130 for the night and wouldn’t have paid £30 if I had a choice .」

「6 adults who had a lovely stay. The local pub did a great take away roast for 10The house had everything we needed and was very clean. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the evenings with the fire lit. Fresh eggs from the chickens and jars of honey were a bonus」
