Clean and very spacious. Bed was very soft which I liked. Great location and the loft with the balcony was great to have. We stayed in the Maisonette room. Nothing negative to add at all.

Great property and the check-in staff were very helpful and prompt. There is no AC and summer nights are quite hot! It would be great if there was a fan in the bedroom. The bed was very very very soft (in a not good way), but other than that, the apartment was well equipped with everything we needed. Lovely view of the water from the balcony, and lots of space. There is also a garden at the waterfront that can be used by the apartment guests and it is lovely for swimming and relaxing.

Only the view is great, there is no sink in the kitchenette, you have to get water from washroom sink, no door for the standing shower. When I made the reservation on Expedia, I selected 1 adult guest and the price shown did not state that adding another guest would cost extra per person per night. The unit is a one-bedroom villa/lake-view apartment with two beds and a large sofa, so it is clearly equipped for more than one person. However, upon check-in, the managing company demanded an unreasonably high amount per night per extra guest. This amount was not disclosed anywhere in the company terms. I admit it is my own mistake, and I am willing to pay fees for extra person, but the amount demanded per person per night is excessive for an already booked apartment unit with a relatively high price. I will not recommend the apartment to my friends.

The apartment was a lot bigger than the photos made it seem. There was a full kitchen, bathroom with a tub, sitting area and bedroom. It was a quick walk to all the souvenir shops, as well as many restaurants. There’s also a private garden (with lake access) we had access to about 5 mins walk from the apartment. The downside to the apartment was that sound travels very clearly through the apartment building. There was a family with small children on the floor above us which was extremely loud, due to the walls and floors being incredibly thin. The other downside was that the bathroom had no curtains on the inside and the window was not frosted. So, if you wanted privacy you had to exit the apartment and close the shutters on the outside meaning you had no natural light.

Beautiful view and easy location to get to from the Ferry stop. Comfortable bed and appreciated the kitchen area. Basic amenities provided and great for our stay in Hallstatt. They approved an early check in which we were grateful for. The only note is the number and email sent to confirm our arrival time was not a functioning email or number so we didn’t know whether or not our host received our arrival time until we called a different number listed.
