The staff were friendly and nice. But heating was too much the room thermostat was reading 28 - 30 celsius (heating is broken) And there was a heater right behind the head rest area. I opened windows all night And slept where people put their feet But still was too hot Barely had any sleep.

Clean rooms and chill staff. Not a whole lot of things to complain except for the lights randomly blinking at night, but I assume that's just normal in Halifax (lol ghosts). Recommend it for travelers who wants a good place to rest and explore the city.

Not fancy, but clean room in a quiet secluded neighborhood with free on-site parking. Staff was universally courteous, helpful and made guests feel welcome. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced off-the-beaten-path lodging alternative, with nice staff but limited amenities, this is the place for you. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again if/when I’m back in Halifax.

Good location, everything was clean, bed was comfortable. The windows opened which was good for getting fresh air. Coffee was fine too. Check-in people were friendly and efficient. We didn't try the breakfast, but lots of people were making toast on the Sunday, and everything looked ok there too. Basically a good place for a good price.
