Welcome to our quiet, private super clean 300 SF studio with 1000 Square feet of outdoor decking and manicured gardens. Follow the well lit 15steps (NO RAILING) leading you to a private gate and studio. The studio features, custom Teak furniture, a sleep number bed, large flat screen with Direct TV, Comcast internet, small kitchenette, beautiful custom Fireclay Tile throughout. Guests can enjoy meandering through the garden. The perfect little getaway nest. I do want all guest to be aware you must be AIGLE to navigate the 15 pavers stairs(without Railing) down to Studio. Please see photo.
Be aware, that parking is across the street facing up the hill from the house, Trying to get a local Taxi, Uber is an issue. You should have a car the distance to the beach and restaurants is not far but our home is up a steep hill.

The Perfect Getaway location

The owners, Phil and Wendy, were fabulous and the perfect compliment to the gorgeous view. Everything was so comfortable and serene. It was the perfect escape from city living and just what I needed. This was my first time staying in Half Moon Bay and I would highly recommend this experience and location.

Quiet, relaxing comfort in a cozy space

This lovely, cozy space has all we needed to make us comfortable. The outdoor shared space with its plentiful deck area gave access to the outdoors yet in the privacy of the property. A lovely stay. We would return.

Beautiful studio

We loved the property, very quiet and private. Great view, super clean, pretty tile floors, sweet table on the deck. Only one thing could improve it-- it's a bit tight for two suitcases, which fill all the horizontal surfaces. Maybe a small end table for the sofa?

This property was very nice. It was way up in the hills of El Granada. Right outside the door was a nice area to lay in the sun or view the ocean. If you have trouble with stairs, this would probably not be the best place to stay since there were quite a few.

A perfect New Year’s Weekend, 2023/2024!

What a beautiful and charming little cottage! Views from the deck were spectacular! Bed was amazing and comfy, and all you could need for a getaway weekend. Near some amazing hikes, and coastal experiences that was so perfect weather-wise. Will definitely consider coming back! The hosts, Wendy and Phil thought of everything to make our stay just wonderful! Thank you, and Happy New Year!

Nice Place With a Great View

We enjoyed our stay here. There’s a great view of the ocean and they have a really nice studio with a nice backyard. The hosts were very easy to work with as well. They ask you to run the fan if using the shower and there’s a slight musty smell so I don’t think everyone has followed this. Overall I would return and would recommend to others too.

This studio is so cute and nice! You can tell it’s been recently renovated and all the tile and woodwork is lovely. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was nice. The view from the deck is incredible. Overall our stay was very comfortable and I would recommend this to anyone! You do need to have a car though, it’s not exactly walkable down to town. But parking was easy on the street, and it’s only 5 minutes to get down to the marina area.

Beautiful property

We loved the view from the backyard overlooking the harbor. The gardens were on multiple levels and unique and beautiful. Loved the decor in our room and the handcrafted woodwork. Piping hot espresso in the morning, and we used the microwave to cook our breakfast in the morning. A toaster would've been great, and there was a hot plate, but we couldn't figure it out as there was an error code. We didn't really need it though. My favorite spot was the countertop outside the room where I enjoyed the view and sun with a glass of wine. The property was very quiet and the neighbors we saw were very friendly.

Double booking

There was a mistake within VRBO—not this property owners fault. We were booked for two different properties in the same town—on the same days. When we alerted this property owner that we would be staying at the other property and wanted to negotiate with him for partial refund—there was no response. We would have appreciated getting the cleaning fee back since there was nothing to clean from our non-stay. We completely understand it was not the property owners fault—but that of VRBO—but not answering our messages and not refunding the expensive cleaning fee was not right. Having said that—BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY WITH BEAUTIFUL VIEWS.

A private, extremely quiet retreat in a great neighborhood, overlooking Pillar Point and a great base for exploring along the coast from Pacifica to Half Moon Bay. Inland exploring was convenient also to Pescadero, Gregorio, Cystal Springs Reservoir and Pulgas Water Temple. Lots off great restaurants, coffee places, grocery stores and breweries.
