This is one of the most beautiful properties we’ve stayed in our rather extensive international travels in the past two decades — quiet, stylish, elegant and aesthetic, more like an art museum with books, paintings, sculptures, historical train models. It locates inside a national park and directly connected to a very private lake. Most impressive is its staff who are so kind, patient, profesional, putting extra efforts into making our stay enjoyable. Many guests stayed there were Japanese and had their own cars, but we had to depend on the hotel shuttle. The driver of the hotel picked us at Shin-Hakodate Station, took us to the town which is rather far away, and dropped us off at another train station. We cannot thank him, as well as other helpful staff, enough! The dinner at hotel restaurant booked out when we arrived, but we had two breakfast at the hotel restaurant. The quality of food was absolutely first-class, fresh and delicious. We read great things about this resort before we booked it, but our actual experience is way beyond we expected. We recommend wholeheartedly!

Amazing stay

Wow what a lovely location and hotel. We had the room with private onsen. It was very spacious with separate entertainment room connected to the onsen, off the main bedroom area. The restaurant meals were delightful with 5 star service.

Very impressed with the Onoma Tsuruga Resort. We stayed for two nights in November and loved the property. The room we had , with a private rotemburo was very nice. It was much larger than most rooms in Japan, had excellent facilities, and the private outdoor bath was the real winner. We also enjoyed dining at the hotel. The French multi-course dinner was excellent and while not cheap (we paid 16,000 Yen per person), it was well worth it. Service, presentation, and cooking were all very impressive. There is also an excellent wine list, with good options by the glass or bottle. The setting of the hotel is lovely, by the side of the marsh (konuma). It is very quiet and relaxing, surrounded by nature. The little resort town of onumakouen is nearby, with lots of little stores, cafes, and activities. This is a less well known spot in Hokkaido, compared with Niesko or Furano, but it's so beautiful. Having a car will really help out. Anyway, the hotel is highly recommended. We enjoyed the very nice touches, like freely available wine in the bar in the afternoon and evening. It's not cheap, but we felt we got excellent value for money and look forward to staying at the other Tsuruga properties in Hokkaido.

色々とお世話になりました

手違いで娘のお料理が幼児ではなく大人と同じになっており、お夕飯の時間になって初めて気づいてしまいました。にも関わらず、すぐ確認をして頂いた後に幼児用のお食事に変更して下さり、お料理もほんと待たずに出して頂く等、ご配慮頂きました。キッチンのシェフの方々と配膳をご担当頂いた皆様には、本当に感謝しかありません。お食事はとても美味しく、お部屋も素敵でしたし、部屋の露天風呂もとても素晴らしかったです。子供連れでもとても皆様優しく接して下さり、本当に素敵な時間を過ごす事が出来ました。またお邪魔させて頂きたいと思っております。本当に有難うございました。

食事がとても美味しく、快適に過ごせました。 大浴場の他にも無料の家族風呂が有り、 食事の前後にバーでのサービスが有り、楽しめました。小沼に面した散策路も気持ちが良かったです。意外にもご家族連れが多くて驚きましたが、小さなお子さんのいるグループは個室の別室で、お食事提供されていたようで、レストランは静かにお食事が出来、大人にもご家族連れにも快適な空間で良かったと思います。

お料理が美味しくて、お部屋も露天風呂付きの綺麗なお部屋で、エステも気持ちよかったです。 夕食の際、ワインが注文したものと違ったのですが、ボトルワインを飲んだのに取り消ししてくれました💦 すみませんって感じです… それ以外はアルコール飲み放題のラウンジがあったりしますしとても満足です！！ また来年もお世話になります笑

優雅な滞在。リッチな気分を味わえました。

大変快適に過ごせました。着いた日の天気は良くなかったんですが、大沼公園の遊歩道はなんとか歩けました。駅から近く、チェックインもお昼ごろに済ませられゆっくり滞在できました。食事は夕食、朝食とも洋食でしたが函館で海鮮食べてたのでそれでよかった。温泉は大浴場も部屋付きの露天風呂も家内は喜んでいましたが私には少し熱すぎました。ただ部屋付きの露天風呂のためか部屋の温度ががとても暑かったのでエアコンを使いました。帰りは函館空港まで送っていただきありがとうございました。またいつかもっと長く滞在したいですね。

　たいへん気持ちよく泊まることができました。係員の対応は自然で、誠意を持ってコミュニケーションを図ろうとする気持ちが伝わってきました。緑に包まれておいしい食事をと温泉を楽しみながら、ゆったりと滞在できます。 　バーラウンジにある鉄道模型の整備を図れるともっと素晴らしいと思います。また、暖炉の上の写真の年代は1975年ではなく1970年だと思います。

初・鶴雅でした

いつの間にか大沼に鶴雅が。昔、クロフォードイン大沼だった時代に泊まったことがあります。 駐車場に車を駐めると案内の方が来てくれて、スムーズにチェックイン、部屋の説明も丁寧にしてくれて、とても感じが良かったです。 露天風呂のお部屋。部屋も広くゆっくり過ごせました。 アメニティの種類も多いし、バスローブ・パジャマ・館内着もありました。 暖炉が灯るバーラウンジの雰囲気も良く、大沼の湖上に出るテラスもまたステキでした。 朝食のプレートも華やかな感じで量も申し分なく。 今回は参加しませんでしたが、函館の裏夜景を見るツアーが、確かドリンク付きで500円くらいで、良心的なお値段です。 総合的に印象が良く、また機会があれば訪れたいと思いました。 余談ですが、「大沼だんご」を夜九時までにフロントに注文すると、翌朝受け取れるサービスも良かったです。
