「This was a great place. In the country but very easy access to Gettysburg and surrounding area. Our hosts left snacks and drinks for our use. Every morning and evening we enjoyed either the front porch or back patio. There was even fire wood and kindling for the backyard firepit.Don't know if we'll return to Gettysburg but if we do, we would stay here again without hesitation. 」

「Clean bright house with plenty of room and space in lovely Shepherdstown. We enjoyed our stay!」

「It was amazing the house with without a doubt beautiful it was relaxing and enjoyable my daughter and her friend loved staying up to watch the sunset absolutely beautiful everything u would need in the kitchen and the master shower was awesome and just to lay there and look out the shy lites was just great host was very helpful in case we needed anything we will go back again thank you for everything 」

「The Happy Hen was the perfect spot for my wife and I and our two children, aged 10 and 6. Minutes away from the battlefield, with a very convenient Dollar General just down the road, the HH was cozy and delightful. We intend to stay again in the future.」

「We had lots of fun!」

「My wife and I stayed at this beautiful and historic farmhouse for three nights. The house was clean, well-stocked and comfortable. We visited the battlefield in Gettysburg for two days and had a wonderful and educational trip. If you like a quiet, spacious, clean and comfortable place to stay, we highly recommend it. 」

「Tip of the hill was a great place to stay! All needs were met staying here. Laura was great and communicated well. We had family arrive from NYC, Maine, Arizona and Ohio. Great central location for Fall wedding nearby.」
