Relax with the whole family at this direct lakeside retreat that many say has one of the best sandy beach and views on the Great Sacandaga Lake. 4 cabins are located on the Rocky Manor property. This specific cabin is "Camp Sammy", the rest are the Cabin, Placid 1 & Placid 2. Placid 1 & 2 are a duplex that share a large deck facing the lake with a gate to divide the patio spaces if necessary. Rent multiple units for larger gatherings. Units share 250 feet of direct access sandy beach.

Enjoyed a week at Lake Sacandaga and exploration of the towns along the lake shore. Very quiet and restful.

Fourth of July at the lake

We had a blast staying here. The beach is pristine and the cabin met all of our needs. It obvious that the owners care about their special place on the lake and were invested in us having a great time. Thank you!

Great couples getaway

We had a great week at camp Sammy. The beach and water were perfect and plenty of room even if the other cottages are rented. The cabin is definitely more of a “glamping” experience which is just what we wanted. The closest store is about 20 minutes but a scenic nice drive. Jeremy was a great host, quick to respond, and helpful with any questions we had. We hope to visit again in the future.
