"My only complaint is actually probably more with Expedia than the hotel. I booked room for four people. Two adults and two teenagers (Expedia will ask ages so I put 16/17). I didn’t think anything else of it. When I got to hotel though was informed that I should’ve booked as four adults- desk told me that policy is anyone over I believe six (might be 8 years old I can’t remember) is considered adult. Was informed that for three nights I would need to pay for the fee for my teenagers which for three nights ended up totaling around $800 USD. I was flabbergasted- I would’ve never booked the room had I been aware of it. Sure it’s a fine hotel but after fees for three nights my total would’ve been around $2500 USD- I don’t feel like that price was worth the hotel for 3 nights. I will say when I checked out I let them know I was disappointed about the extra fee and was able to get the cost for one teen removed. I ended up paying total around $360usd and they did give us breakfast for 3 days. Staff was great and should be commended. They really tried to help. Another tip for anyone reading this- rent a car. Uber isn’t as accessible here as other cities."

"This is one of the best places to stay in Chatan. The view is amazing especially on a Friday night when the fireworks are over American Village. The location is fantastic and walking distance to American Village. The staff were exceptional! Very helpful and friendly. The room was a de ent size with washer and dryer in the room. The TV’s are huge as well. The room was very clean and well stocked. You can not go wrong staying here."

"This place is awesome! It was clean and well maintained! Everyone was kind and helpful! They have onsite laundry and it was reasonably priced. There is a full amenities bar with everything from coffee to toothbrushes to razors. Breakfast is extra but it was good and they still served it during the typhoon. They had a couple of American items but there was local food too. I tried a few things I probably would not have ordered on my own. They also have an espresso machine. Just one more additional thing the shampoo and conditioner is sooo good. Definitely going to have to find it for myself."

"This apartment is in a great location, opposite Camp Lester and a short walk to the American Village with lots of dining and shopping options. There are also several convenience stores nearby to purchase all your supplies. The check-in process was very easy as we had confirmed our details prior to arrival. We also had no issues with getting and holding our parking space. The apartment is as described, very comfortable, with a roomy living area. Fresh towels are available for longer stays. There wasn't a lot of crockery, mugs, cutlery, etc. and no drinking glasses. We were constantly washing what we had. The apartment could do with some more in this area. The only other issue we had was that there is no top sheet on the beds, which we're used to in Australia. The bedrooms were quite warm, even with the air-conditioning on, so sleeping under a doonah wasn't ideal. Overall these two things were quite minor and we really enjoyed our stay."
