Our comfort room was huge and indeed very comfortable. The bed and pillows were great. The balcony was a nice bonus although it was not private, and with the balcony door open anyone could walk in as the balcony was shared along the whole corridor. The lounge with free tea/coffee was a nice idea but it would be so much better to have a kettle and facilities in the room rather than having to carry hot drinks down a long corridor to the room. Lovely big car park and we had no difficulty charging our car. It’s a good 30 minute walk into the centre of town but it’s a pleasant walk along the canal.

Excellent hotel located about a 20-minute stroll from the city centre. Very nice breakfast, clean and comfortable room. Friendly staff. Large and elegant hotel. Quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Good capacity in the restaurant. Supermarket a 5-minute walk from the hotel. We stayed for six days as a family of six. We stayed in a Deluxe family room. We were very pleased with it. If you are looking for a hotel in the very city centre, this is not the one. If you don't mind walking to get to the city centre, the hotel is perfect and offers a fairly quiet location in the suburbs. Watch out for cyclists when walking into the city. They brake for nobody 😉

This is our favorite place to stay when visiting Haarlem or Amsterdam! The hotel itself is just as nice, if not nicer, as the high end hotels in Amsterdam with a little more space and amenities. We love the spa room and the restaurant, and the coffee lounge/bar, as everything is top notch. The only request would be to have non-dairy milk in the coffee lounge machine, as my husband cannot consume dairy.
